Had high expectations from the outside and seeing how massive the store is. Walked in and right past an employee who did no sort of greeting. We slowly browsed the chocolate cases hoping some would help but that didn’t happen. A lot of their chocolates are old or not stored properly and have sugar bloom and they’re still selling them. Entire trays of chocolates were bloomed it was sad to see. We walked the entire store then circled back to the front where the chocolates were and finally someone “helped” us. I asked the prices of the fudge and she said she didn’t know they’re all different by their barcode ok fine but no effort to even check. I said ok what’s the range and because of her English wasn’t great she said whatever we want🤦♂️. I asked about some chocolates that had no label and her response was I’m not sure what those are🤦♂️. We ended up with about 6-8 pieces coming to a little over $20 which is pretty pricey. Then we try the chocolates and I get it you can’t make everything but damn you can’t even get a florida based chocolate company to supply you you’re ordering from Virginia 🤦♂️. Chocolates weren’t even good which made it even...
Read moreIs illegally overcharging. Was told it's a 4% service charge for card payments but I was given total before they even knew my method of payment not to mention I used debit and your cant charge service fees on debits. I was taxed on service charge since it was just added to price of each item and not listed as separate line item as required by law. He just kept pointing to a 8x10 laminated sign they must have printed out saying there was a 4% charge on card payments but cash got a discount rate. I'd the 4% charge is for using a card how can you say that it's a discount if you use cash??? PLUS you can't charge more that what price tag on item says even if it is an error. You have to honor price you put on item. Since I wasn't willing to be overcharged I asked for refund and was...
Read moreVery few price tags, candy smells odd and most importantly, very overpriced and practically gouging people. 3.99 for 1/4th a pound, with a bag being 1 full pound once filled should be nowhere NEAR $41. Not ONLY that but employees are rude, making faces and asking things like, "You really going to pay for all that?" Like we're going to run out the door. And finally, there is no scale until you get to the counter so if you get something, you have to stick with it and can't choose when you are done if you have a limit. I do not recommend this place for candy selection, you're better off shopping elsewhere for services that make sense and won't rob you of your money. These people need to have files made...
