I had to write this review, not that I expect much of a response from the business owner or anyone else for that matter, but I did want to share my experience.
I ordered 3 meals, a 4 piece meal, a 3 piece meal, and a 3 piece chicken tenders meal. The total for these meals was almost $30. My meal, the 3 piece chicken tenders meal, was listed at $7.99. Now, I understand the cost of living is going up and for no real reason other than companies all wanting to get greedy and make more profits since minimum wage instead. I mean, that happens, everyone. It's honestly, in my opinion, where they're is only the rich and the poor because companies raise prices, sometimes up to 40 or 50% higher, like McDonald's had done, and in fact, KFC has raised their meal prices upwards of about 25%.
It may not sound like a big increase, but a meal that used to be $5.99 and is $7.99, which is an increase of $2, is also a 34% price increase. But my review isn't about the prices, it's about the food you get for those increased prices. The 3 chicken tenders I got were approximately 1.5 inches long, pretty sad when you consider that two other the tenders I got today would have equaled one tender I would have received a couple of years ago.
It seems like a lot of restaurants and other companies like Pepsi and Cocoa Cola are doing the same thing... they are raising prices, but at the same time, giving you less of the product. Does anyone else see that? We are getting less for a higher price. It's ridiculous. The meal I got was large enough for a six year old. The service was below standard, which is unfortunately becoming a customary thing with most fast food joints. There is no customer service. Perfect example. The lady hands the bag with good out the window to me, I ask her if I could some barbeque sauce, she turns her back and walks away.
She definitely heard me, but I wasn't what was important. The conversation she was having with another employee was in higher demand than providing quality service and food to the customer. In cases like this, I ultimately decide just not to visit that place of business no more. So this KFC, at least, had received money from me for...
Read moreI have never stopped at this location but I figured I would do a mobile order for quick pickup. I ordered on the app and by the time I arrived at the establishment the order was supposedly ready for pick up inside. So I entered and did not see my order at the pickup stand, upon standing at the counter another customer walked up and asked one of the two employees at the time if his order was the right size which it wasn't. So that customer had to have food replaced. I then told the employee my order and showed the confirmation on the app and then they started making my order. That one employee was making all of the orders for drive thru and lobby and yelled to another coworker hiding in the back that he needed fresh chicken tenders dropped to make my order. The other employee was just standing at the drive thru taking orders and not helping. While I was waiting, an customer who had ordered in drive thru and came in for a missing item and his receipt. After he came in, another customer who had been waiting in her car over ten minutes for a drive thru order came inside to see what the hold up was for her food. While waiting for my food, I got the satisfaction email about my order. Let me say that again, I got the satisfaction email about my order before I got my food. During the time we all were waiting for our orders another employee walked out to the register area to which the guy making the food asked "you're still mad at us and won't help us make any orders?" to which she replied "NO" grabbed a stack of napkins and came out into the lobby where we were all waiting and started filling napkins instead of helping make orders for us all waiting. The food was fresh and good but the service was awful. I understand it being a Friday evening near theme parks so the orders may take slightly longer but it wasn't even that busy, we three were the only ones in the lobby and had already ordered and there were maybe two or three cars...
Read moreWouldn't got to this store. We are visiting Orlando and thought we'd get a $20 fill up from this KFC. Called the restaurant and made the order, then piled in the car to pick up the order. On arrival we attempted to pick up our order, but we're told they didn't have the order and we should pull to front of store to wait until the order pulled up. We did. And waited......waited some more......and waited..... An employee came out and asked us what we had ordered, we told her the $20 fill up and we had made the order over the phone. She went back to store only to return and say they didn't have a record of the order, so if we would go through the drive thru, place the order, we could get our food. We did so and pulled up to the window. While waiting, we heard someone at the window, inside the store talking very loudly and heard a swear word or two. They opened the window and we did too. The employee told us our order would $6.56 or so, but as we ordered the $20 meal, we knew this was wrong. The employee wasn't have any of that and asked us when we did the order online. We told her we placed the order over the phone with a manager. The employee got very angry and said we must have done an online order bc they didn't take phone orders. We told her that we had placed the order over the phone, with the manager and the employee got very irate, almost screaming how wrong we were. At this point, I wouldn't have taken free food from the store as she was very angry with us and kept ranting about no phone orders. We just left the drive thru and I called the store at the same time, cancelling our order and how we would gladly go elsewhere and not bother them. Idk how long it will be til I...
