6/21/23 1st and certainly last time will place an order from any franchise of Marcos. We ordered pizza online for pickup. Get to the store and none of the 5 employees had the wisdom enough to greet or look for my order. Then finally what appears to be a driver asked if he could help and he tried to help by asking the pizza maker where our order was. She rudely says to him, if I had it she would already have it! I asked for a refund because they still haven't attempted to make my order which could be seen in the system but wasn't showing on their screen. Pizza maker with bad eyes tells me I can't have a refund because I haven't been charged so I showed her where the $24.98 had come out of my account. She still states I can't have a refund because system is down. Another employee finally calls the manager and explains the situation after 1.5 hours of waiting for an order that they STILL haven't attempted to even make! They attempt to cancel my order that is in the system after all. Kia, manager, states she will cancel order next day and issue refund. She did call and say she cancelled order and refund should be showing. Today is 7/2/23 and still haven't received credit. I've made several attempts to reach the store to check status and even made a call to corporate which still haven't received a call or credit. Read moreI placed a large order of varied pizza, wings, and salads to feed my production crew of 20+ people. The order was placed 24hrs prior and scheduled for delivery at 11am. When I contacted the store around 10:30am to confirm delivery (as our lunch time was a hard 11a-12p) I spoke with Dorothy. She was very kind and professional and ensured me that our food would be arriving on time. She also informed me that since there wasn't a delivery driver on staff that day, our order would be outsourced to Door Dash. Since the current time was before 11am (opening business hours for the store) Dorothy was also there alone and tasked with making our order. Even with having to do this heavy lifting by herself, she was still so very pleasant and helpful. Our order arrived at 10:55am, everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Dorothy even included plates, napkins, cutlery, and ample varieties of salad dressings (which I'd honestly forgotten to request). Huge kudos to Dorothy, I thank you! My Crew thanks you! The person making the pizza didn’t do it right, some Toppings were Bellow the cheese, causing confusion and then another one (mushrooms” were missing. So I go back and tell them it’s missing the mushrooms and the “manager” asks me “what do you want me to do?” Worst answer you can give a client as it shows how unwilling you are to provide a proper service. Then she goes and says “we usually just heat up mushrooms and give them to the client”… that is the most NONSENSICAL answer. ANY food business will resolve things by making a new/fresh pizza after a mess up, no matter if the one making them has 30 seconds or 4 days in the job. Even if I have to give the messed one for it to be thrown away because I didn’t care about 2 pizzas, I just wanted it done right. It’s what every customer deserves for what we pay.
