Despite our efforts to clarify the intended humor, she erupted in anger, defensively identifying herself as the owner and admonishing us to communicate with greater respect. This unwarranted treatment led us to leave the establishment.

The lady, in pursuit, attempted to justify her behavior by expressing exhaustion and highlighting the inexperience of the new employee. Subsequently, the owner provided an explanation for recent thefts over the weekend, attributing them to the store layout and the positioning of doors. While sympathetic to their predicament, such circumstances do not warrant mistreatment of customers who had conducted themselves respectfully throughout the encounter. Despite the owner's attempts to persuade us to make purchases, the discourteous behavior encountered prompted a decision to withhold patronage.
