The associate (Alexander(he/they)) working alone at the store at 7:30pm September 15th 2024, had no idea how to properly do their job. They almost denied me a trade-in for a product i have traded in the past (2 days ago), after explaining that GameStop doesn’t take Nintendo 2DS’s anymore! imagine if I hadn’t known any better and let them lie to me! After we mentioned that 2 days prior we traded another one of the same device in, they simply scanned the barcode on the back of the 2DS and suddenly they could accept it (crazy how that works!) They charged me 16$ for a refurbishment service (?), and struggled numerous times to properly apply price matching on top of the GameStop pro membership discount for a product I was purchasing. It took them 15 minutes to produce a number out of thin air, even after I had explained that I had purchased the same thing 2 days ago, and had no issues with price matching or the discount from my membership not being applied. They were also claiming they had to do math on their phone for taxes(that apply automatically at checkout), and the price at the end was still incorrect for the item I purchased. They had they audacity to be constantly complaining that myself and a friend entered to purchase something so close to closing time(8pm) as if they aren’t being paid to stand there and let me buy something. we couldn’t handle the idiocy anymore and decided to pay an extra $15 for the product simply to remove ourselves from the frustrating situation. I have never had a negative experience at this gamestop, but Alexander has and will continue to do damage to your stores reputation...

The seller was trying to take advantage of us for not being Americans, he made up a discount that in reality was 0 (when I argued with him, he made up numbers trying to fool us). We decided to buy it anyways because it was our last day in Orlando. We paid with credit card and left, some minutes later I noticed in the ticket that he had also suscribe us to a mensual membership with GameStop that was free for the first year and then 25 dollars a month (never even mentioned it to us). We went back to speak with him and he’d said that we did not have to worry, that we would not pay anything because he did not save our payment information. Now, one year later, I have received the charge for 25 dollars in my credit card and I am spending hours trying to solve all this. DONT GO HERE IF YOU...
Read moreI have been going to this GameStop consistently for probably 6-8 months. They are always my go-to when it comes to hunting for used games. They always take time to ask me about other games I’m looking for, and letting me know if they’re available in nearby locations, or online. (When you’re hunting for strictly Wii U games, it means a ton)
Every experience I’ve had with their store manager has been some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. They (along with everyone else in the store) always have a smile, and are super helpful, even when I’m returning a disc that turned out to be faulty they make sure to make it right, offering shipping both to my home, and to the store, even if it’s a harder game to get your hands on, they always strive to make it right.
