Wendy's — Restaurant in Dr. Phillips

This Wendy’s really needs to do better to be on the I-Drive. I came by today 7/20/23 around 2 pm trying to use the drive-thru. It was just one car in front of me. The lady in that car needed to wait about 10 mins just to order. I heard when the lady on the speaker said “sorry, we are to busy in the lobby. So I ask my wife to get inside and try to order while I stay on the line outside and see which way is faster. For our surprise, there was only 2 persons ordering inside. Not busy as they stated. The lady in front of me finally was able to order and then I moved forward. Just to wait another 10 mins before I could order. I noticed they did not take my order until they completed the lady’s upfront. Meaning they just were taking and completing one order at the time without even letting next people to order. What kind of restaurant is this, that it only takes 2 guest outside and 2 guests inside to be “extremely busy”???? Specially on the famous International Drive… Either this restaurant needs more staff, or the staff needs to be trained way better. But there’s no way a “FAST FOOD” does not even let you order your food so it can get started, until they completely dispatched the food of the person in front of you. Is ridiculous. And they were doing the same thing inside. Please, I think a Wendy’s on this area should be able to manage just 4 orders at...

If I could put 0 stars just know I would !!!!! Hands down the absolute WORST WENDYS IN TOWN ! If you are in Orlando or in the area & just want to make a quick stop DO NOT STOP HERE !! HANDS DOWN THE WORST EXPERIENCE !! My family and I ordered at the kiosk & afterwards I walked up w my receipt to the cash register and waited patiently for about 15 mins & I still did not get attended trying multiple times to get the young ladies attention in the front . Afterwards I was asking her for the cups (bc we were dining in we ordered 4 separate meals & some xtra sides) & she gave me a stank horrible attitude & rolled her eyes at me & only gave me 2 cups.. okay cool I waited on our food I ordered two 4 piece nuggets & one 10 piece nugget ( ONE OF OUR 4 pieces had only 3 in it the other had only 2 in it !! The 10 piece had 7 in it !! We got 2 fries out of the 4 we ordered & the sandwiches were made incorrectly . When confronted the lady at the counter she gave me more attitude & I just simply didn’t want to argue with her I was hungry & wanted to get the meal I ordered I simply just walked away .. Wendy’s is really just the standard of fast-food these days and thankfully this location, after multiple visits, lives up to that. I used to frequent my old Wendys so much the employees joked with me that I should just work there. But how can you blame me? The whole Biggie Bag deal always solves lunch for me. A small sandwich, fries, nuggets, sauce and a drink for $5-$7 is a very hard to beat deal. The employees here are also very friendly and treat me with respect, including Ms. Samara, and I still have yet to have a problem with my order (surprising given the negative feedback here on Google!) As for the location itself, it’s probably the smallest location I’ve been to. Not necessarily a bad thing but it does suck when it’s the middle of daytime and you can’t find a table with shade. They do maintain the bathrooms well enough though so that’s always a good thing.

Overall, this Wendy’s is very good. Well worth the slightly higher prices for their premium combo meals, especially if you’re a tourist to SeaWorld and didn’t want to overspend for the food there. Dave’s Double Biggie bag paired with strawberry lemonade...
