Went in for a goodbye breakfast as a family of 5 (3/12/2023) and had an absolute horrendous experience. To start, there was about a 45min wait for a table so the lady who helped us (supposedly) put us on the waitlist. Eventually, we came to the realization that we had not, in fact, been put on the list after waiting a good 45min-1hr since other parties who just walked in were being sat well before us. Once I noticed this, I walked up to the host and asked what the deal was and discovered that our names weren’t actually on the list. After talking with the host we were immediately sat at a table. Soon after our server came over to take our drink order, I had asked for coffee and when it was brought over I kindly asked for vanilla creamers since there was none at our table and they never came. After about 10min, I got up and got some off another dirty table in her section. When our food came out sides and modifications were wrong on a few plates and fixed one of our sides (an order of bacon). That was all that was fixed, one of us had wanted chocolate chips with her pancakes but were not on the side or in their pancakes so we told our server that it was wrong and she said that she’d bring some chocolate chips over. We didn't see our server for quite some time and the chocolate chips only came after we asked her again. She, then, brought out hard chocolate chips for the pancakes. After that we all ate our food which was average at best alongside our eggs being cold. Drinks were also never refilled. Throughout our entire experience we only saw our server 3 times, and was never asked by her or a manager how everyone was doing or how the food was. To top it all off, our server had other tables in her section, one of which I assume was family because she spent a majority of her time sitting down with them talking and prioritizing them while we were waiting for multiple things throughout our meal. As someone who has worked in the service industry for years, this place was extremely disappointing. No touchbacks, no care involved, and no problem solving from most staff members besides the young host who helped us get sat, but keep in mind he never acknowledged us after sitting there for nearly an hour. All we wanted was a nice breakfast, or even average breakfast to enjoy with our family before having to fly back home the following day. Unprofessional and inexperienced staff from our experience. Don’t waste your...

We ordered takeout. When the food was ready, the employees kept dropping the two cylindrical containers on the top of the bag, before giving it to me. A little of the soup spilled, made a mess of the container, but they didn't try to remedy the (admittedly minor) problem they caused.
When I got home, we were taking the food out of the bag, and we noticed that the fruit bowl we ordered and paid for ($5.99 + tax + packaging fee) wasn't given. Probably was an honest mistake. It happens. We decided to call after dinner.
Most of the entrees were delicious, but both the steak and the ribs were way too tough. The sides were okay
When we called back after, the manager on duty first offered us $5 of Black Bear diner bucks, and that wasn't an equitable remedy, so we asked for a refund. The manager didn't know how to do that, so she told us to call back in the morning when Bryce was in. When we contacted them in the morning, we were told that Bryce was sick..
We called back a little later politely asking, "What can we do to get this taken care of today?" We were given to a manager, who after some reluctance, offered to refund $4 back onto the card. When I mentioned that that wasn't sufficient, because the item was $5.99 + tax + packaging fee, she did something on the computer for a second, then said she could give back 6 dollars back to the card. I then repeated myself, and she eventually responded that she'd put "about ten dollars to be precise" back on to the card, and that I'd received the funds in 5-7 days.
Well, instead of getting a refund, we were double charged! To make matters worse, the second charge was the same as the first. A more understandable mistake would have been to charge the reduced amount, so I only would have been 1.95x charged, but nope, they charged the same amount again.
Such incompetence.
After contacting again, they did refund the second charge, and $10.
It shouldn't take this much effort to get a refund for an item I didn't receive.
Edit: Corporate responded to this review, and requested my email address. So I decided to reach out, but haven't done anything as a result of my reaching out to them by email, besides ask for more personal...

It was my daughter’s birthday celebration, and thank goodness the place we’d intended on visiting was jam packed so full that exiting into the parking lot was necessary to read the menu without having to share it with someone else—NOISY! So, we’re SO relieved we left for Black Bear instead.
Being careful about what I eat was out the window for the day, as I indulged in their FAMOUS Bear Claw blackberry French toast, two strips of bacon, and hashbrowns, with a glass of frosty OJ. The toast melted in my mouth with such exacted precision that the flavor was the only portion left after the taste was released. Every single bite melted in my mouth. The bacon was flavorful and cooked perfectly. And the same for the delightfully firm potatoes.
My birthday girl got cinnamon roll pancakes, a very fresh fruit cup, high and flaky biscuits and gravy and a rootbeer.
At first, Joy brought her some strange concoction of strong tea, having misunderstood. But she was sweet as a warm August rain on a hot summer’s day when we explained our confusion. Joy replaced it faster than she brought out the first drink. She was so sweet and so caring, making sure everything was perfect before she left us.
My daughter decided that next year, she wants to return and make it a tradition. Honestly, this is a tradition I can definitely get behind. BTW, make sure you’ve got room in your fridge for leftovers. You won’t be able to eat it all, but you won’t be able to let the food go—the little boy with his hands caught in the cookie jar, unable to turn those...
