Leatherheads Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Draper

We drove 62 miles one way, 124 round trip to come here to see Quorum of the Queens. The performance was a blast however the bar service was struggling. I felt bad for the waitresses because they were severely understaffed and overwhelmed.

It took 45 min from when we got our first round of drinks to when we finally got our food. It then took another hour for a waitress to finally come and ask if we wanted more drinks. We also almost mistakenly got a whole other table’s round of shots, which would have been cool to have free shots but we weren’t going to play those people dirty like that.

I got the brunch burger and the only thing I liked about it was the fries. The breakfast wasn’t great which makes me sad because other reviews say their burgers are fantastic. Too bad there weren’t any lunch items in addition to the breakfast items on your brunch menu.

To top it all off our waitress never brought my brother and I’s check so we had to go up to finally get our tabs. Even then it took them 10 min to find where our cards were being held. Because of this mix up I missed my opportunity to go get a picture with the queens. The drag queens saved the experience here from being a disaster. Being that you were able to bring in such talented performers is what’s saving my rating from being just a 1 star.

I only tipped the waitress because it wasn’t her fault that her management couldn’t provide sufficient staff for such a big event and because people deserve a livable wage. Leatherhead was the closest place for us to go see Quorum of the Queens. We’ll drive further to another...

We went three times. Good food and pretty good service.

**So the fourth time we arrived with plenty of open tables. We wait and try to flag down a server. No luck. We saw plenty walking around, just would not come over to us. At 30 mins we ask the bouncer and he tells three waitresses that we would like a menu. No dice. 45 minutes after sitting down we leave with no service at all. Very poor.

** Fifth visit (Ya we like to punish ourselves.) was a much better experience. Took a good 10 minutes to get a waiter, but after he come over the first time, he was great. The drunks singing karaoke are always just to watch. We will continue to monitor this place and rate accordingly.(Stars raised to 3 3.5 really, but whatever. March 2018)

** Many many more times and the service has been better. It is a good spot to watch various games on their many TVs. Food is good. Not the best and not even close to the worst and the prices are right.

If you want to watch sports or drunks sing Karaoke and get some good food then come try it. Sometimes you have to check because they have events that aren't advertised very well that require a cover-charge.

** After even more visits, It is good enough in all areas to be a regular go-to. Service is so much better than what we had originally received the first couple of times....

Update 1/20/24 this place was so great and I am not sure if they changed the owner or what happened. This place is a sports bar from what I understood and the name I thought was a dead giveaway for football. This is the furthest thing from the truth. This 2023 season was the worst experience I have had here. My friends and I went to a game on Sunday when we arrived they had games going but half the seating area was closed. Then we were told by the staff that they would not be changing any of the TV games because the bartender didn't feel like it. We were the only people in the bar sporting any team gear and they said they wouldn't change it to the game we wanted to see. Completely unprofessional about the situation and just saying that they don't want to and they already changed it for one person earlier. At first I thought I was just a one off for the day but to keep happening for weeks on end? We will be finding a new sport bar this 2024 season.

Old 🧓 This place is amazing. I have been watching NFL football here for 4 years now. They always have ticket with plenty of tv's so you can watch any game you want. The staff is so amazing and always make you feel welcome and they are always happy to help you with any questions you have. Sad that the 50 cent wing Sunday is gone but they are so good I definitely don't mind...
