We ordered a pretty basic order – cheeseburger, Big Mac, two large fries, 20 nuggets and two drinks - online for curbside pickup @ 10:30 PM, then drove over and waited at the curbside pickup 10-15 min before trying to call… b/c no food was brought out, and couldn’t enter the store as doors were locked.
First call was ignored, second attempt was actively hung up on, and third attempt they opted to leave the phone off the hook.
Finally we drive through the drive-through. Waited behind 5 cars, and when we got to the speaker for ordering the girl was super rude, before we even said anything. We tried to explain we’d been waiting in curbside pickup, and she just yelled back something incomprehensible about a window then ignored our request for clarification. We opted to just wait patiently in line and drive up to the window, at which point she rudely just handed the food out to us, not saying a word. The whole experience - which should be at most 5 - 10 min took 30+ min.
Meanwhile our food was cold, and the ice in our drinks was melted by the time we got it. Furthermore, they totally messed up the simple 3 sauce selection we requested… it was like they didn’t even try or give a darn. 😆
For slow fast food we would’ve been better off going to In-N-Out… at least the service & food quality would balance the typically long wait time out a bit. 😆
Super disappointed & won’t be going back there in a hurry - which is too bad, since it’s our local McDonald’s… if staffing is an issue they shouldn’t set expectations by offering online curbside parking. Fortunately, we do have other options - and I guess the silver lining is that the terrible/rude service, added wait & messed up order gave me both extra motivation and time to leave...
Read moreThis location is horrible. Fries and hashbrowns always taste old, rarely have a good experience here but decided to give it a shot since it's so close to me. I wanted a special big mac ( I like to modify it with the quarter pounder patties ) as I've done so here before with ease with the managers help. I try to tell the lady in Spanish as I'm bilingual but she said she'd have to get the manager. The manager comes out with kind of a attitude and attempts to take my order. Shes talking about how she has to charge me extra for the bread and I tried to tell her all they do is charge me for a double quarter pounder and make me a special big mac. She wasn't having it and was acting as if it was coming directly out of her personal checking account. I got so annoyed that I left and went to the San Ramon location down the street ( where I religiously always have a great experience, staff is a lot nicer too) and had no problem ordering what I wanted without the bickering and bull$#it that I always deal with at the other location. Worst part was the manager at the first location was almost going out of her way to say ok thank you have a nice day thank you have a nice day which I found sarcastic and completely fake! Dont say have a good day lady if you genuinely don't mean it!!! I wanted to curse her out so badly but then I would have looked like the nut lol Dublin location sucks, I've had better experiences in rougher parts of the bay area. I've even walked in before where all employees are looking at one employees phone and ignored us customers til they were all done looking at some online post....
Read moreI normally don't write a lot of reviews on fast food places - I feel like they're pretty much all the same. But recently I had a bad experience at this McDonald's. I took my kid with me to get a quick dinner after 8pm and we ordered some very basic items. McChicken sandwiches, and a strawberry shake. Being that the total was around $7, I didn't ask for a receipt when I got to the drive-thru window. The cashier asked me to park in the Drive Thru parking and wait for them to bring out my food. I thought it was odd based on how basic our order was, but whatever. So we waited in the parking area for definitely more than 5 minutes when our food finally arrives, but without the strawberry shake. We get the person's attention and remind him that we also ordered a small strawberry shake. He goes back inside the restaurant, and returns - again without anything in his hand. He asks me again what we ordered, and again I tell him it's a small strawberry shake. He said, "Do you have a receipt?" I said, "No, I didn't get one this time." He shrugged his shoulders and said, "Well, they're saying it wasn't on there, so..." and acted as if there was nothing he could do to help me, and blaming the decision on "them" in the restaurant. I had basically worked a 12-hour day so I was in no mood to take this kind of attitude over a small shake. I got out of my car and marched inside to explain what happened. Finally I did get the order filled, but not without frustration. We've decided to patronize Wendy's across the street instead...
