I wouldn’t have left this if the owner had shown even a little responsibility and ownership.
I attempted to let them know nicest way possible: I waited for the store to be empty and was only planned on letting them know that the nachos I ordered had chips that were MOLDY. I was not angry. I did not raise my voice. I did not ask for a refund nor did I ask for a replacement. It was just information I felt the owner needed to know. I flagged the young woman to show her the MOLDY chips I had set aside. If it was just one MOLDY chip, I wouldn’t have said anything, but it was multiple MOLDY chips. After I told her, she politely apologized and as I have repeated twice, she did not have to apologize to me. I asked her if that was the owner I saw bringing in supplies to the back and she said yes. I asked her to tell him yet, she had to come back out and apologize to me again.
To the young women who assisted me: I’m sorry you had to be the face of a company with an owner who lacked backbone to take responsibility. I sincerely hope you did not get in trouble for something that wasn’t within your control. As I had told you twice, you are not the one who should have had to apologize to me. I hope you’re paid more than you’re worth. You were so kind.
To the owner: you had every chance to do the bare minimum. To step out, acknowledge the mistake, and simply apologize. That alone would have been enough and I would have left quietly and not posted. But instead you hid. It took me 30 mins to get home to type this out. And in that time, all I could think of was the injustice the young women or your staff would have received from you. Ultimately the responsibility of the food quality is in your hands.
I hope you learn from this and do better, not for me, but for your staff and...
Read moreThese tacos are probably the best I’ve had in GA that remind me of home back in Cali🥹 tasted just like getting them off the street. So good, we had to take some tacos and another agua fresca to-go (for someone else to try) and cause that salsa roja estaba bien picante 🥵😂 From the tacos to the torta, they are generously proportioned with meat, guacamole, cilantro, and onion. The mushroom taco was nice to try but tasted okay. Would love to try the crispy vampiro tacos next time. The bread on the torta was probably the softest and freshest I’ve had. It didn’t hurt biting into it (like when the bread is too hard or crispy that it scratches the rough of your mouth) Both come with lime wedges and radishes on the side and the staff will bring out the squeeze bottles for the salsa verde and salsa roja. On each table there is a shaker bottle of fine table salt as well.
As far as seating goes, there’s casual retro counter seating and tables that can accommodate a small to large group(6-7 people). Several parking spaces are available in the Nukoa plaza where the restaurant is located. Overall, everything was satisfactory. The agua fresca was a bit thick but it’s an easy fix with more ice or a lil more water added. Wish they had the pickled jalapeños and carrots but I can always just buy that separately and...
Read moreBest tacos I've had in all Georgia! And I don't mean it lightly.I've been to Mexico and this is the closest it gets to authentic. Tortillas are 100% hand-made. The meat is flavourful. Mulas are also made exactly the same way they're made in Mexico, with hand-made tortillas. MOST IMPORTANTLY: DON'T SKIP THE GUACAMOLE. It is the specialty and it gives the tacos a unique, delicious taste. The staff is courteous and the owner is very friendly. I've been here at least 9 or 10 times since I discovered this place about a month and a half ago, so they must be really good, right? NOTE: The place closed temporarily for about a month or so, but thankfully,...
