Wild State Cider — Restaurant in Duluth

We've had their ciders on tap and from cans and they are the best. Now, my wife and I came here and got 2 flights of 5. Between us, we got: Classic Dry; Wild Apple; Hazy Pink Pineapple; Strawberry Rhubarb; Peach Basil; Juicy Pear; and Berry Jam.

My least favorite (but still better than probably any Cider from another cidery) was the Classic Dry. My wife's favorite since she first tried a can was the Juicy Pear.

The "odd" ones (which were a bit of a risk) were all great. Must of them were subtle on the listed ingredients (basil, rhubarb, etc) and super-well balanced. The biggest exception was the pink pineapple haze which was definitely pineapple-y but not excessively so. I would think it would be a super refreshing drink on a hot day. If you’re looking for a change from all the breweries you’ve been to lately or you need an option on the gluten-free side of the spectrum then look no further! Wild State is a is a great spot with lots of unique options within the cider spectrum. This past visit I grabbed a hot cider and a tart cherry cider and both hit the spot. Each of their ciders is a unique experience and depending on my mood I can always find a cider to match. The space also adds to the experience. With a clean northern aesthetic that balances Nordic styling with a “up north” cabin feel, the cidery always feels cozy and inviting. We had the greatest experience with June and Ava at the bar! We had just come from another cider location after having a challenging experience with uninterested bar tenders! We were in for a treat with a June and Ava! June had an amazing sense of humor who “knew how to play with customers” and offered exceptional customer service!!! We were convinced the smoothies were the greatest! Then I had fun! I ordered a “Trail Mid Smoothie” and she looked at the menu board and responded with a playful comment!!
