Eduardo's — Restaurant in Duncan

My daughter, daughter-in-law, and niece were all employed at the same time by Travis and April Lagaly of Eduardo’s in Duncan, OK. I cannot/will not post all of the issues here and I know I am making myself a target by doing this. However, I feel obligated to put the information out there. Do with it what you wish. If anyone would like to discuss anything you are welcome to pm me and I will speak civilly with you regardless of your stance.

While employed at Eduardo’s Travis followed my daughter around essentially calling her “stupid” until she began to cry (we had friends in there when this happened, so it was witnessed).

My daughter-in-law has a prosthetic eye (she is extremely self conscious about it). While at work one night Travis walked up to her, covered one of his eyes with his hand and said, “Hey! Who am I?!”

After finding this out I began inquiring as to how I should handle this issue (the making fun of her disability). So then April called my girls in the office and told them that “If we have to get an attorney tomorrow you will all be gone!” Which is exactly what happened. They fired 4 people in all and stated it was either due to the suit or because they were related to me. While this is an AT WILL state you cannot terminate someone because they are standing up for their rights OR the rights of others.

I would encourage everyone to read other reviews and compare statements made regarding management and their treatment of their employees!

Also, I did attempt to have a civil conversation with Travis. He was completely incapable. He kept pacing back and forth, unable to even complete a sentence... So, no this was not the way I had initially chosen to...

went in ordered 2 different items when they called it back to me it was right over the phone went to pick it up the order was not the same told them what i wanted they told me that the price was more than quoted i ordered extra chicken on one of my orders when it was called in and when i got home even though i paid for the extra there was hardly any chicken on my order called them on it they said that i was not charge the extra cost for the half salad was charged for a taco salad instead because they didnt want to correct the order then they just told the cooks the other item was suppose to come with a salad and a roll it did not have either one of them the item ordered was a chicken fry in which it was about the size of a hamburger patty and last but not least ask when making our salsa would you please mix them between hot and mild the salsa was all mild and the crazy thing is we paid over 22.00 for the 2 meals this is not the first time this happened it has happened on several occasions but kept giving them chances and when calling the managers on this all they want to do is make excuses not solve the problem the food was good but the service is way under what it should be im sorry i will not be back to this restaurant its sad because it used to be a very highly thought of place for a...

If you ever come to Duncan...SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T EAT HERE. First time ever visiting this restaurant and I will never be back. The food I ordered was the fajitas: chicken, beef and shrimp. It was bland, no seasoning and all the meat was over cooked. There salsa tasted like tomatoes. Just tomatoes. I requested for another bowl of Queso due to the fact ours was cold.

I asked to speak with the manager, her name was APRIL. When I told her the chicken was very dry and there was no seasoning and it is just bland food...HER RESPONSE.... I have had 3 men today order this and loved it. This is Tex-mex and this is just the way it is down here. Not at all what I expected to hear from someone who is a manager and cares about her customers, food and job. She didn't even say, I'm sorry you didn't like it. We would love to try and fix it. It was straight to defense of the food and how this is just my problem.

I made sure I tipped my waitress and left. Pretty sure if this is how she was taught to treat ppl, upper management might not care either about their food and customer services. Since there is not a lot in this town... all I can do is write this review and post it on every single...
