First, I can not rave enough about Kookie Krums and it’s vibrant owner, Georgia! Her warmth and dedication to her customers has just endeared her to us and all who have come into contact with her. She makes everyone feel important and significant. Second, Georgia and her talented chef, Bill, have created a gluten-free and regular-fare menu that defines YUMMY! Ok, I have Celiacs and have to maintain a strict gluten-free diet and today I had my first crab cake in years. Omg, it was chock full of crab and beautifully seasoned and prepared. It was served with the tastiest coleslaw. Omg…so delicious!! My significant other does not have to follow a gluten-free diet and he eats at Kookie Krums at least once a week. Kookie Krums was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so thankful! I ordered a Cookies for a Cause box to be delivered to my sister and her team of ICU nurses who have been working extremely hard during the Covid-19 pandemic. My sister works the night shift, and Kookie Krums went out of there way to accommodate me to have the cookies delivered after normal business hours. I don't even want to share this because I want it all for myself - but here is the truth: This is Dunedin's current hidden treasure. The food is out of this world, the service is amazing and the atmosphere is adorable. If you want to impress friends, family or a date - this is the place to go for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. It's intimate, delicious and charming. When the news gets out about this place, it is going to be hard to get a seat. Both times I went, I enjoyed it so much I forgot to take pictures - the food tastes as beautiful as it looks.
