ATTENTION CORPORATE: I WAS THREATENED INSIDE THE STORE BY AN EMPLOYEE.
I ordered a pizza, large 3 topping, for carryout. Time to be completed said 7:12. I get there early and the pizza is not ready, which is completely fine. I then inquired about the time it would take to finish and was told at 7:12 "another 5 minutes, it is in the oven." Again, no problem. At 7:20 I asked if the pizza was ready yet, and yet again I'm told "5 more minutes." However, this time the cook responded, who by the way I have had experiences with in the past, all similar. The last time I came before today, the same guy took an excessive amount of time to make an order, which I found out he actually forgot to give to me, all of which took about 30 min while I was waiting. The manager at the time offered me another pizza or cheesy bread for waiting, and for some reason when he told her "he took care of me," she gave me nothing and I left with a cold pizza that had been sitting because not one person realized it was done. Same guy that threatened me today.
I responded to him that "you guys said that 10 minutes ago. Every time I come it seems to take longer and longer to complete the orders, and all I ask for is an accurate time, that's it." The cook at that time then needed to be restrained as he went into a rage over my criticism, screaming from the line and trying to race around his employees to get to me. I obviously left after I said a few choice words to him. If i was a manager, the chef would've been fired on the spot, period. BUT INSTEAD........
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but what kind of manager takes the side of an irate employee who threatens customers (over what I think was hardly criticism) INSIDE THE STORE. Mind you this same manager KIMBERLY THOMPSON completely lost and out of her head when I've come other times - nothing seems to be organized in this place. I can't even tell you how many times management has changed here, but every time it has gotten worse and worse.
I cannot believe this happened, and I'm shocked that Marco's would allow such unqualified people to run a franchise. Shame on this location for disrespecting a customer of 5 years. I will make every effort to make sure the manager and chef are both reprimanded, and hopefully terminated. If anybody knows the owner of this location, please leave a comment so I may contact...
Read moreThis location is the WORST! I placed an order for delivery. I got a notification an hour later it was out for delivery. We waited and waited and I refreshed my order tracker and it had changed from “out for delivery” to “ready for carry out.” Confused I called 3 times and never got an answer. No email. No calls. Nothing. Now hangry I decided to drive over to see what happened. There was a guy sitting in his sunglasses staring at his phone who wasn’t sure what to tell me. So another guy (maybe a manager??) came over and said my order was cancelled. He said they tried to call me 3 times and I never answered. They had the correct number. So I sent my husband and text to call me and the call came right thru. They said they would remake my order. They had no valid explanation for why nobody answered the phone. In the meantime another woman came in with the same issue. They gave her the run around about being closed (yet people were still coming in for carry out), the phone didn’t work, the phones were off, they only had a driver for an hour and he was gone, something about someone’s mom…. It was insane. She was also very upset. She said she was sick and had a baby in her arms and they were completely unprofessional with her. It was awful. After she left the main guy kept telling me he tried to call me and I finally asked him to call the number he had for me. He dialed and magically my phone rang! They spewed so many different lies and excuses between me and the other customer is was almost comical watching them try to keep it all straight. Read moreI used to order from this location frequently with little to no issues until I placed an order that was marked as delivered even though I never received it. I called the restaurant and they said they would send my order. The guy came with an order that wasn’t even mine. At this point I no longer wanted the order because I had no longer had confidence that the incompetent crew on duty could get it right. I called and asked for my money back and was told since the order was online I would have to wait a couple days. Of course I didn’t get it back. I called back on two different occasions and had to explain myself all over again just to get no resolution. I ended up getting my money back through my bank since the online process to express a complaint also failed and was pretty much non existent. I attempted to give them another chance the other day but they didn’t even answer their phone even though it was well within their business hours. I ended up ordering from a much better place on Uber Eats. I won’t use Marco’s again. There are too many good pizza places in the area with way better service than theirs. My advice to fellow consumers was going to be to order over the phone so that your money can’t be held hostage, but apparently they don’t answer the phone either so just go somewhere else all together.
