Iâm sorry, but do people actually like this place? I went there today and it was overpriced and low quality pastries with bad service. Everything looked dry and hard and the pastry I got was exactly that, and they donât ask you if you want it heated up. And the tea was saccharine sweet and syrupy. And on top of that, I needed to get work done and their Wi-Fi wasnât working. Before I ordered I tried to ensure it would work and asked the barista about why it wouldnât and he said to just put in the password again and it would work. I ordered and tried to connect to Wi-Fi and it didnât. I tried my phone, and it wouldnât connect there either. I ended up just leaving my tea and pastry with one bite taken out of it there because it was so incredibly bad. This cafe wasted my time. I didnât have time to stand in a long line and ask for a refund so I called and the manager just kept making excuses about âwell you got an almond pastry and not almond croissant so thatâs why it was dryâ when I asked for and almond croissant and he said âtheyâre over thereâ but there were none so I got the almond pastry which I assumed must be the same thing since he said they had them. It wouldâve been helpful to have been informed of that. And he said the tea is made from a concentrate so thatâs why itâs so sweet. Again, youâre not expecting a tea at a âfancyâ place to be revoltingly sweet. And then for the WiFi excuse he said that a lot of people are using it so thatâs probably why it didnât workâŠ.okay?? Thatâs not my problem. He refused a refund but said heâd give me a free coffee next time which is a joke because why would I subject myself to poor service and poor food. I felt talked down to and taken advantage of. I need a real solution to them wasting my money and time and will be contacting the email. And now having read the other reviews saying this place is dirty, they have some nerve refusing a refund for such a bad service on so...
Read moreThis morning, I went to redeem an award in my app. I am a frequent patron of this place, and I was accosted about a free beverage, before two other customers - who also were in shock regarding the interaction. The server kept stating he was having technical difficulties, and that he needed me to give him my telephone number. I did, and the reward was able to be redeemed. While paying for my purchase, he kept repeatedly stating that he was giving me the item for free- because I "really didn't have a reward". I have proof in an automated email, which I have provided below- and shown him that HE was able to redeem my drink- HE was not GIVING me anything. He was rude, and I will NEVER, ever patron ANY Paris Baguette ever again. I am highly aware how those of that racial make do not like Black women, but I never had been treated blatantly rude before like this by Asian people. In this climate, being disparaging, and making the appearance of me not wanting to pay is vile.
Hey Congratulations on your redemption 11 seconds ago. If you don't have our app, please provide this QR code to the cashier at checkout to redeem your reward. You have 00:10:00 hours until 04:58 AM 14 August, 2024 to redeem this reward. No worries! Even if you don't redeem the reward now, it will be back in your account after 04:58 AM 14 August, 2024, and you can redeem the reward later. Enjoy, The Paris...
Read moreI visited Paris Baguette CafĂ© around 5:30 PM and was unfortunately met with a disappointing experience. Upon arriving, I noticed the cake display was nearly empty. Hoping there might be more cakes in the back, I approached the counter to ask. I began with a polite, "Excuse me," but was immediately dismissed by the gentleman working there, who responded without even making eye contact: "Youâre gonna have to get someone else to help you."
I clarified that I just had a quick question, to which he responded with an unprofessional, "Oh, whatâs up?" This response caught me off guard, but I continued to ask about the cakes. His reply, "What you see is what we GOT," was abrupt and unhelpful.
Despite this rocky start, I tried not to let this experience overshadow the two prior positive visits Iâve had at this location. I decided to order a caramel latte instead. Thankfully, a friendly employee named Lauren took my order, which helped improve the moment.
However, when Thomas handed me the latte, his lack of professionalism stood out. He neither made eye contact nor thanked me for visiting, a stark contrast to how he interacted with the customer before meâoffering them a smile, eye contact, and a polite farewell.
Iâm not sure what led to such inconsistent treatment, but it left a sour taste. While Iâve enjoyed this cafĂ© in the past, this experience has discouraged me...
