To provide a little background, I tried the location at Paces Ferry a good while back and unfortunately, service was basically non existent and the food served to me was cold. Every taco I ordered should've been at least warm and it wasn't. Needless to say, I never went back to that location. With this new, recently built location at High Street, I figured I'd give them a 2nd shot and see if it was just that location. I'm happy to say, that was definitely a factor. This new location had a popping, hard working crew going at it. I arrived within an hour of opening during a weekday and it was pretty packed in there (y'all don't work? Jk 🤣) and it was cold so everyone was trying to stay inside. Due to this, my wait was about 15-20 minutes to get my food. Seems a bit long for what I ordered so just a heads up there. The inside of the restaurant is a decent size but can realistically probably fit 30 people or less but don't quote me on that. Much more space available at the outside sitting area but like I said, it was cold so no one was trying to eat out there. There is a free parking garage located a block away from the restaurant. Make sure you use the correct garage as there is another but it's for permit parking or High Street residents only. Order consisted of the "say what" combo, which is 2 tacos of your choice, side of your choice, and a fountain drink with an option for a boozy drink with an upcharge. I got this along with an extra taco. So specifically, it was the fish and chips taco, quesa birria duo (2 tacos in 1 order with consomme), brisket taco, queso and chips side, with a sweet tea. Fish and chips taco was by far my favorite personally, with a piece of fried cod as the main event of the taco. The brisket was good and so was the birria but I wasn't really feeling the consomme. It has a sweet taste to it and I've never had a sweet consomme and I don't feel it fits personally but to each their own there. Whatever made the consomme sweet, it tastes like that's what they swirled over my queso as well and it was just as off putting there. Chips were blue corn and very crunchy/crispy and delicious. Very well salted to boot. Sweet tea with lemon was great. All in all, much better than the other location and due to the number of options, I'll likely be back to try more of the different tacos available. Decent taco spot so give these folks a try if you're interested in some decent and good sized tacos (with optional booze!)

Horrible experience. We were in line,  the man at the counter was taking orders, but when our turn came, he walked away. A young lady came after two minutes and asked if I placed an order, I said no, and she smirked, looked away and continued doing what she was doing as I stood at the register with my husband.  The man kept walking back and forth with no eye contact. After about 4 minutes of this humiliation and noticing some of the patrons noticing that, we were clearly ignored. I asked the young lady when someone would be available to take our order. She got smart and said, "I told you to come down here!" I was taken aback! Since when do you have to chase down staff to place orders! No one else had to do this. I asked her her name, and she would not provide this information. I told her I was going to do an honest review of my experience, and she said so. We left and went around the corner to Nandos to eat. I know the food is good, this is why I gave a 5 for food. The service and my experience were horrible. I will not be back, but who knows? Your experience may be different.  I recorded my experience but I can only post 30 minutes. For more honest reviews, please like and subscribe.

We have been twice now. The tacos are tasty, but, everything is very salty. I was wondering if maybe the recipes could pull the sodium content down and bump up the lime juice especially in the salsa? Only complaint was that the red velvet cake was missing the caramel drizzle. Suggestion for future WTF taco: Jerk chicken and a plantain salsa or ox tail and sweet potato chutney. Suggestion for beer: Negra Modelo is the best with all tacos, I know because I order it at all Tex Mex establishments with my tacos. Hopefully your distributor will hook you up. 😁 We will be back. Hopefully you will bump your hours up to open until 3AM on Friday/Saturday like the other locations so we can stop in for tacos on the way home from the club or pub?

Most unhygienic velvet taco branch I ever seen in Georgia and Texas. I visited this branch on 11/26 from 7:45 pm to 9:30 pm. I saw two black guys working in food station area and they were not changing their gloves. One of them black guy touches trash cans and other dirty places with the same gloves and immediately he went to food station and start preparing tacos. He did not care to change the gloves. After few minutes that same black guy(skinny and beard) pulling his pants up wearing the same gloves. There was tongue in each container but he was using the hands to put those chicken and veggie in to the tacos without changing his gloves. This place is not for the pure vegetarian as this food worker they are touching juicy chicken beef with the same gloves hands they are preparing veggie tacos, nashville hot tofu and paneer. This is not the vegetarian standard. IF YOU ARE PURE VEGETARIAN THEN PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Another black guy wearing glasses, I saw him picked up the dirty utensil and walked inside the another room picked up the trash and changed the trash bag and come back to the food stating and started preparing tacos without changing the gloves. MOST PATHETIC AND UNHYGIENIC PLACE I EVER SEEN. I saw one big black girl coming out from the toilet having gloves on and she also started preparing tacos with the same gloves. I am going to file complaint with the...
