EDIT—I’ve upgraded the review to 4 stars overall because the general manager reached out on the app and requested I call her to discuss what happened. We spoke a few days later and she apologized greatly for our experience and said we should not have been treated like we were and said they are addressing it. She gave us a store credit that covered what we spent that first visit as well as an additional amount for a future visit and asked us to give them another try. She was very sincere and I felt she properly addressed the situation. I am pleased with the outcome and we will give them another try. — This was the worst restaurant experience we’ve had in a while. Saturday, 11/04/2023, 7:00pm and about half full. I ordered a 10” pepperoni and my partner ordered a 10” taco pizza. Mine came out and the waitress didn’t say anything-just walked off. My partner told me to go ahead and start as hers wouldn’t be far behind. A little bit later, pizzas were taken to a table that came in about 20 minutes after us. I was already halfway done. My partner said there was no point staying since I was almost done so when the waitress returned I asked her to just box up the pizza since I was almost done and let her know it was frustrating not to eat together. The waitress said that it takes longer to cook the taco pizza than the pepperoni. I told her I would expect a restaurant to know how to cook in order to serve a table all at once and asked for a manager. She replied, “I am the manager”, and walked off. No apology, no offer to rectify the situation. Received the bill in full, no apology, no request to come back and no box for the remaining pieces of my pizza. We got home after an 8 minute drive and my partner opened the pizza was was cold. Not warm at all-it did not just get done. Interestingly, there were also no tortilla chips on the pizza-they were still in the bag. It appears that maybe it was packaged for pick up instead of for a customer in the restaurant? At any rate. If I could give a zero I would. This is our local restaurant we go to almost weekly. I have never had such terrible service. I waited over an hour and a half for my food and ended up with buffalo sauce instead of French dressing for my salad. Obviously not knowing it’s buffalo because it’s marked French I poured it all over my salad. When I called to let them know the mistake, right away the girl who answered the phone was very unsympathetic and first response was hmm that’s weird we pre pour our sauces and label them so that could never happen.

Well it did! As I tried to explain my frustration I was told I could wait another hour for a salad or get a $6 dollar credit. I first asked for a contact to the owner or a complaint department for the unpleasant encounter and the girl wouldn’t give me the information I then asked to speak to the manager and she refused to talk to me and then proceeded to shout in the back ground that there’s nothing they can do for me and told the girl on the phone to hang up on me. After she hung up on me I called back to ensure I would get at least a refund and the manager was very rude and yelled at me stating “you’re the rude one for being mad at us for something that’s not our fault!”

Absolutely terrible feeling as a customer especially being 38 weeks pregnant and already waited over a hour and a half for my dinner. I will never give them any of my business and will be reaching out to the BBB and our AG for follow up I can’t believe how rude and unprofessional the manager was it is not on the customer when I restaurant makes a mistake even when busy if you can’t handle the heat stay out...

We ordered the Carbone's Taco pizza, which was supposed to be covered with tortilla chips, tomatoes, lettuce, black olives, & onions. And then taco sauce sent separately. We got a large delivered, that I think, we counted a total of 6 chips on the entire pizza? The lettuce and tomato in a separate container, and almost frozen. Taco sauce was in a separate container, and they included 3 small packets of sour cream. The pizza had no taco flavor what so ever. NO onions, NO black olives, as described on the menu description. And the mozzarella cheese only seemed to be concentrated to the center of the pizza only. This pizza all around was an epic failure. It tasted terrible. We also ordered a Spicy Italian sandwich, for one of the grand daughters who did not want pizza. They sent a Meatball sandwich. That's not even close, to an Italian sandwich. Delivery was almost a full hour, but at least the driver was a nice person. I would NEVER recommend Carbone's pizza, and we will NEVER make the big mistake of ordering from this place ever again either. Terrible food...
