Whataburger — Restaurant in Eagle Pass

OK so this is a review for water Burger which is a huge national chain and always has terrific tasting food. But this goes out mostly to every chain restaurant that I visit in the last 6 months. You walk in and you must have on a face mask come up there is usually antibacterial gel to clean your hands before you get to the counter. There is a young lady or young men waiting to take your order and take your money. They are usually wearing gloves and a face mask . However they take your money put your money in the drawer give you change back from who knows who has touched that money then, They grab your cups and usually put 2 fingers inside the cup to place those cups on the counter. Then they grab the lids and straws and a stuff those down into the cup. Someone please explain to me how that is sanitary. We ordered two cheeseburger combos, and the price was $24. It is a good value for money. If you order a combo, you get a medium-sized cup, but the drink cup size is usually the Large or X-Large size of other fast food restaurants. Whataburger‘s hamburger is 5 inches in diameter, which is a very large size compared to McDonald’s hamburgers which are 4 inches in diameter. The burger has a lot of mustard sauce, so it has a strong mustard flavor. If you don‘t like mustard sauce, I recommend asking for easy mustard...

Service was horrible. Our order was large, so we justified the long wait thinking our food would come out just fine and we could eat quick. Sadly, when our food came, it was really cold and the hamburgers weren’t made correctly, they had missing or extra ingredients we didn’t ask for, and it was annoying to ask so many times since they couldn’t get the order correctly even after showing them the ticket almost 3 times, and we had to ask for them to bring our fries and treats other 3 times. We paid almost a hundred dollars for our orders, so it’s disappointing that the service and food were so bad.
