Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in East Caln Township

Disaster - total disaster.

We were on a nice drive and saw chikfila had reopened. We decided to go through the drive through and get a pair of frozen coffees. We pulled up at 8:50pm. That's an important detail.

We went into the drive through and a team member came to take our order. That person begin our interaction by asking, "how much did that car cost?" Clearly getting our order taken was not the top priority.

It was a relatively slow night and only two vehicles were ahead of us as we rounded the building. Both cars ahead of us had their orders and were dispatched by 8:58.

As we pulled alongside the drive through window/door we could see our two frozen coffees sitting there melting slowly.

I mentioned to the attendant that those were likely ours and was told, "just pull up to the line." We did so at 8:59.

Behind me we noticed both lanes were now full. As the minutes ticked by we saw orders being brought out to cars behind us. As time continued I noticed the driver's behind me seemed to be getting more irritated than even I was - I can understand they have hot food cooling off in cars that cannot move.

Finally at 9:08 someone walks up to my car, "did you get your order?"

"no - and we only ordered two drinks"

The person runs back inside. Two more minutes go by. The person returns.

"what name is on your order?"

I tell them and they run back inside and return shortly but still empty handed.

"what did you order?"

"two frozen coffees like the ones that were sitting in the window over 10 minutes ago."

The person runs back and then returns with our drinks. We pull away only to discover we have been served the same two drinks that had been sitting, melting the entire time.

So after a total of 22 minutes we left with our 2 not-at-all-frozen coffee drinks. It took less time to drive home, and type this review than to...

I like chick fil a because their waffle fries are extremely awesome and amazing. Their chicken sandwich is delightful along with their chicken nuggets. Their lemonade is sweet and they offer a wide variety of drinks. They have diet lemonade, normal lemonade diet ice tea and normal ice tea. They have a soda fountain and pretty much any drink you can think of.

They have milkshakes for miles. There are many flavors such as; vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream. They also have a lot of seasonal flavors such as peach in the spring and summer. Their milkshakes are so good that they make me want more.

Their workers, who are so nice, make the experience much better than walking into a McDonald’s. Most people love chick fil a— I do too. They always say “my pleasure” at the end of each order. The downingtown chick fil a is the place to go.

Back to the menu. They serve their food in all sorts of shapes and sizes and are very ready to make your food exactly how you want. Their fry sizes consist of a small medium and large, they also have all sorts of sizes for chicken nuggets. They have a 4 count, a 6 count, a 10 count, and a 12 count. There drinks also come in many different sizes such as small, medium and large. They have a very well made kids menu at Chick fil a in Downingtown. On their kids menu they have quite a few options for your little one to choose from. They have a 2-6 chicken nugget meal that comes with a small fry and a small drink of your choice. I don’t take the time to write reviews usually, but this specific Chick-fil-A is very poorly managed. I went in for a mobile pickup order, and saw them place my order on a shelf behind the counter a few minutes after I arrived. It was then another five minutes before an employee acknowledged my existence and asked if I had been helped. I gave him the name on the order, he went over, picked the two bags of food up, realized the drinks hadn’t been prepared yet, set them right back down, and went back to what he was doing earlier. Another 3 minutes went by, and a different employee finally asked if they could help me. I gave her the name on the order, and she didn’t even go over to the shelf, she went straight back to the cash register and started taking orders again. Finally after another five minutes, a third employee came over, made the drinks for the order, and set them next to our now cold/soggy food. He made another three orders worth of drinks, then randomly grabbed our order and called my name out. I got home, and there were no sauces, no straws and no plastic silverware. I drove all the way back, and the manager said, well what do you want from us? You didn’t bring the food back, all you have is an empty bag. I said I want you to make it right.
