Seven Tap-Tavern — Restaurant in East Caln Township

We went here on a Monday night. Besides being one of the other patrons, it was understaffed. Waitress was kind and understanding but was served bubbly Chardonnay, flat soda and food was mediocre at best. My mulligan "french dip" was sliced (and dried out) roast beef dunked in au jus. First and foremost, this place is located in a Country Club. Driving into this place had beautiful nature views the entire way down. There’s a golf course located on the premises as well. Be careful driving in, especially if it’s your first time as there are golf carts sharing the road who from my experience, drive as if they own the road and will cut you off and not yield despite you having the right of way. We stopped into Seven Tap Tavern at Downingtown Golf & Country Club on a Friday night just for drinks but ended up ordering appetizers—and we’re so glad we did because the food was amazing! It also happened to be open mic night, and the musician was incredible, which made for such a great atmosphere.

The only thing we’d recommend is adding some comfy lounge chairs alongside the dining area for open mic nights to make the experience even better. Other than that, everything was fantastic. We will...
