I came for dinner and was seated in one corner right next stacked-up high-chairs for babies even though the restaurant was near empty. I ordered Saag Paneer (w/o paneer) with Garlic Naan. I specifically requested that they make the Saag Paneer 8/10 spicy. Shortly after the food came and it turned out that the cook had forgotten to make the dish spicy. No worries. Things happen. I notified the waiter of the problem. They took the dish back to the kitchen and sprinkled the dish with some red chilly flakes instead of redoing/re-cooking the dish with chili. By the time they brought the dish back my garlic naan had gotten cold. I requested if they would make/bring another naan. They took the cold naan from the table and re-heated it. This made the naan hard and dry. The right thing would have been for the restaurant to have made another naan and trashed the cold naan. While weâre at it, let me also mention the quality of the food. The saag paneer I ordered had absolutely no taste whatsoever. The only discernible taste was of the âcreamâ that was put on top to make the dish visually appealing. Saag paneer is my go to dish at most Indian restaurants and I can say that Nalanâs Saag Paneer would be on the bottom of my list. Letâs talk garlic naan. It was thin like roti and did not have naan consistency.
All in all, it was not a good experience dining at Nalan Cuisine. The food taste was below mediocre (2/10). Also, they donât to make things right when they get it wrong.
I would not recommend Nalan Cuisine to anyone looking for...

Nalan Cuisine is one of the best places to eat authentic non-veg and veg Indian food. The diversity of both food groups leads to everyone having an opportunity to taste their wonderful delicacies. The food is mostly South Indian, but there are many North Indian options, which are equally delicious. The menu offers many different dishes such as biryanisâmy favorite, dosas, appams, parotta, etc. I would recommend their biryanis (obviously) because they are very flavorful and tangy. I usually order the spice level at high. I also love their mango lassi; very refreshing on a hot day.
Whenever I come to this restaurant I am reminded of India, âthe food, the place, the service all makes me nostalgic. The service is also very friendly and attentive. The food always comes out on time smelling fresh and spicy. The restaurant also has robots by the way;, I thought that was cool.
I discovered this restaurant through the Indian heritage day event at our school. They had given us some of the best dishes on the menu for free to serve at our event. Though I have only gone to this restaurant a few times, as I have just discovered it, I have already fallen in love with the food and experience.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Indian restaurant with flavorful dishes.
P.S if you are new to Indian restaurants, take the saunf (candied flannel seeds) when you leave. It helps with digestion and tastes...
Read moreWe recently visited this restaurant as a group of six and found the experience quite enjoyable. đ żď¸ was hassle-free, thanks to the spacious parking lot. The restaurant wasnât too crowded, so we quickly got a seat and started exploring the menu, beginning with soups and appetizers.
We ordered the Chicken Pepper Soup, which was excellent, and a variety of chicken appetizers, including Chicken 65, Chicken Lollipop, Karam Podi Chicken, and Tawa Fish Fry. The Karam Podi Chicken was already spicy, but we opted for the spicier version, which turned out to be too hot for me, though the rest of the group loved it so much that we ordered another plate.
For the main course, we tried Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Noodles, Boneless Chicken Biryani, Goat Curry, and Naan. The fried rice, noodles, and biryani portions were a litte more that it is easily enough for two people to share, so we had to pack some of it. The Goat Curry, however, was underwhelming, and the naan was just average.
We ended the meal with desserts like Rasmalai Ice Cream and Mango Lassi, both of which were delightful.
Overall, this felt like an Indian restaurant in the locality where most of the food items were delicious and the service was quick too. We also saw a robot carrying foods for the pick up orders as well. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, it felt worth it for the quality...
