Highly disappointed in my experience this morning at the new Centerville Rd. Location. Took the kids for a special breakfast; just something different. We like to go in so kids can see their specific donut options for the day. Plus, usually dining in means better customer service; not today. First, after waiting to give an order to an actual human being (Since there were at least 7 bodies behind the counter), without even greeting us, the (I think he is the manager) directed me to submit my order via the kiosk. Ok, fine. Except, not fine. You want me to use the kiosk, I should be able to specify and select EXACTLY what we want to order just as if a human were taking the order. The option for a strawberry Iced donut came up for my daughter, but no vanilla Iced donut for my son even though we were clearly looking at at least a dozen in the case. They also wanted munchkins, but they wanted glazed and powdered sugar. My only option was to select "assorted." So when the two flavors my kids HATE came out and I wasn't given the donut we wanted, I was "That" customer that rejected the items and requested exchanges. The young kid who was taking care of the order was nice about it, but the manager gave me an exasperated look more than once. On top of that, I should be able to sit with my two young children and not have to worry about them hearing an employee repeatedly expressing his frustration by loudly saying the "F" word. More disappointing is that it was not addressed or corrected in any way. Even though this is the most convenient location for us and it's a new, clean place, we will not be back. Read moreWe got there at 7 am. It was a bit busy but not too bad. My husband went in to get our mobile order. It’s about 7:10 so I text him and he tells me that he is waiting for the food, he had gotten the drinks. After a while many walk in the store. It’s about 7:20 at this point and I went in to see what was going on. One of the ladies working there was just ignoring all of the front counter people, the line was almost to the door. I noticed our bagged food was just sitting on the other side of the counter and no one was tending to us or anyone in the lobby. After a while of STILL waiting I told the lady that that might be out food on the counter and if we could have it. She marches over rolls her eyes and puts the bag on the counter. We had 3 items of food. I told my husband to check the bag before we leave and we were missing a donut. I then waited a bit and STILL had to tell her I’m missing something. She then got very mad, complained to her coworker and handed me the donut with an attitude. Read moreCustomer service is horrible. I used my Perks app for the first time this morning and ordered ahead. When I got to DD, my order had not come through and I was interrogated about my order and what store I had selected. I went ahead and ordered a coffee and paid by gift card. I spoke with the manager and asked if I was charged for the order that did not come through and she told me that you are charged immediately once you hit Submit on your phone. Of course, I didn't want to pay twice for one coffee. She proceeded to tell me that she was on the phone with corporate every day about problems with the app and that she would refund my money "this time." I asked how I was supposed to know when the app is working or not and she said, "you won't." So excuse me, but your app doesn't work, you're in a bad mood because it's causing you problems, and you'll refund my money "this time?" I'm not paying for coffee that I don't receive. If the app isn't working, then this shouldn't be an issue for your customers. I'll use the $$ that I've put on my perks card and...
