Everything was fine we ordered our food and the waitress was nice. We got our food and noticed that they made mistakes. I had asked for the honey barbecue tender melt with American cheese instead of cheddar. My boyfriend had asked for a burger with bacon no cheese. Our food came out I didn't have cheese but my boyfriend's Burger had my cheese. We sent it back and they brought us another Burger. We checked and found that there was still cheese on the bun they had just either redone the burger or scrape the cheese off. So we sent it back again and they brought it back again with a new burger patty and everything. We found a hair in the bacon which we wrote off as probably a mistake. We took the burger to go and some of our food to go cuz we didn't finish it all. He went to eat the burger later that night and found that there was still cheese on the bacon and under the bacon. So he still couldn't eat the Burger. He ended up giving it to his son instead. I paid $78 for our food and my boyfriend couldn't even eat his own food and we had sent it back multiple times. I love Friendly's. Friendly's is a childhood restaurant that I've gone to for years but this just put a sour note on Friendly's for me. I paid $ 78 for the meals, which nothing was compensated for and we didnt ask for compensation, even though they messed it up more than twice. They even messed up his ice cream order. He had asked for chocolate ice cream with peanut butter and all they gave him was just peanut butter. This was Saturday night after 9:00 p.m. I don't know if this was their passive aggressive way of them wanting us out of the restaurant so that way they can close at 10:00 or 11:00 I don't really remember what their hours are. But if so I think I would have preferred them telling us that they were closing soon when we walked in and we would have just walked right back...
Read moreBesides the food being cold the actual reason for my low rating is customer service. Usually when we order we tend to do it online and get it as take out. My partner went in to get our order and explained to the man there that we ordered 2 happy endings meals, but that the code doesn’t work for the free ice cream, so he was letting him know so we could get our ice creams. Instead of this silly man saying “oh sorry about that what would you like” or something along those lines he decided it was best to argue and state that it should have been done online not in the restaurant etc after being told multiple times it doesn’t work online he still continued with his nonsense. He was simply being rude for no reason. The code NEVER works online (employees there know that from other people experiencing the same thing). We have to tell them when we get there every time and no one has ever given us trouble. Please someone fix the online issue so we don’t have to run into lazy employees complaining about having to grab a scoop of ice cream when it’s not our fault it doesn’t work. Would of been nice if someone had stepped in, but they just watched till he decided to stop and grab the 2 one scoop ice creams. Please teach your employees...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised I must admit. First...they are encouraging social distancing and all employees were wearing their masks!! ;). I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants like this but I admit I was pleased. Only one server running the floor so I was sceptical but Madison was great!! Me and my daughter are really picky about how our meat is cooked and being a server myself I know when someone tells you the same thing 3 times it gets annoying. [ sorry] and all in all I'm not a big burger person but!! Had the cheesy mushroom burger and it was delicious!! And thanks to Madison it was perfectly cooked and my daughter actually finished her meal for once. We decided to split a sundae so I let my daughter choose.. holy bleep! It was huge , a big sundae with 3 scoops and 2 brownies. Way to much for even 2 of us to split. Dont see how you could possibly leave hungry. Thanks Madison. And to Friendlys for being...
