the bagels themselves are amazing, however ordering a sandwich has proven to be extremely disappointing - I live around the block and was so excited to see them come to the neighborhood, as a NY'er I was so thrilled that I could finally get a fried egg sandwich on a real bagel! Well, unless you order an everything bagel, toasted, with butter, one egg and bacon....that order is has proven to be extremely challenging for this place and is rarely correct. 1. toasted - the first time I placed this order I had to convince them I wanted the bagel toasted.. 'It just came out, it's hot' they said'....'yes but is it toasted??? 'NO then please toast it...', Now I am not sure what 'toasted' means to the average person, but for me it means the top is crispy and a soft to med brown in color - - - not warm, not burned - it def. went through what appeared to be a toasting device, but there was nothing toasted about it, it was prepared with out butter - two eggs, not one. I paid 6 bucks for that w/ med coffee. I though ok maybe i say my order differently so they understand - Once a week i go here for my breakfast sandwich, since they opened - NOT ONCE have they gotten the order right, when i remind them that I ordered the bagel to be buttered they slop some butter on top of the egg - - - so today I reached my limit - today - I ordered 'an everything bagel, toasted, not warm, with butter, one egg and bacon '- I got a burned black bagel - butter (yea!) and two eggs (not 1) and bacon. Then I am the ass because I get frustrated that the order is never correct. Again, I pay money for this, it's not a generous offer from a local shop, it is a purchase, where you expect you will get what you pay for. LUNCH - roast beef on a hero, with lettuce tomato and mayo - - - - 'you want cheese?' 'NO - just lettuce tomato and mayo' - bite into my sandwich and low and behold there is the cheese, or even worse . . . there are onions on it.... I am frustrated to the point where i will only buy a bag of bagels - I am tired of spending my $ on products that are not...

First time I got a breakfast sandwich here the order came out right and in about the time you’d expect. It was middle of the road but nothing to brag or complain about. Second time I waited a long time and then got the wrong order. Two people with my name had both ordered and my order went to the other guy. Then had to wait for it to be re-made. Still was very “okay”.
Got the omelet recently. I ordered a western omelet with cheese. Cheese was melted overtop instead of inside. Toast stuck to the cheese making it a mess from the start. The ham inside was deli sliced ham and was not diced up at all, just big pieces of ham. There were no onions. A western omelet nearly anywhere in the world is ham, onion, pepper. It was also way overcooked. I actually prefer my eggs cooked hard but this was literally black in spots. Did not come with a side and was priced near the same as other bagel places locally that do offer a side.
That’ll be my last attempt at coming here. I’m genuinely happy for everyone I know who loves this place and must get different food and service than I do, but I can’t catch a break here. The video will be up on socials tonight if you’d like to see the things I said about the omelet. ...
Read moreFirst time in as its not really my neck of the woods. Tidy little bagel shop that serves breakfast sandwiches, lunch, salads, and of course the cream cheese and other bagel toppings as well as some cold pasta salads. I was in for breakfast so I grabbed an Egg, Ham, and Cheese on an Everything bagel. It was $5.04 and worth every penny. Thing was huge and very filling and I'm 260lbs. 2 pieces of griddled ham, 2 eggs cooked at a very tender over hard (very nice egg cookery) and a couple slices of american. The everything bagel was super soft and crunchy on the outside, it tasted like it was made 2 hours before I ordere6my sandwich. Ham was ham, no amazing ham, but ham nonetheless. All and all...Super good. I will say that I would have liked a little seasoning on the egg though, anything, no salt or pepper was used, but that's my preference. I also ordered my sandwich to go and received it in a bag...a napkin would have been huge. It's pretty degrading to shove a sandwich in your face in your car and then have to wipe your face with the to go bag,but you gotta do what you gotta do. It was delicious, but felt a little seasoning on the egg would...
