Have to downgrade my overall rating to a 4. The food and service is good, never had any issues there. Can't speak for the atmosphere since I only get drive-thru, but so far anyone who's been at the window has been nice so I guess that counts.
I can't keep my original overall rating of 5, because the value, which was kinda hidden originally, is now kinda gone, which I guess is more of an upper management issue, whoever is in charge of setting prices and offers, as well as setting drink options. I vaguely remember something about Burger King trying to ascend to a level a bit higher than fast food, but all that's meant is the prices have gotten higher. If you aren't focused on value, and aren't regularly ordering for just yourself, this review may not be for you.
Nuggets are no longer worth it, due to all the weirdly priced options being removed in favor of 2 options with much more normal pricing. Burger King's nuggets aren't the best, they're just okay (kinda remind me of frozen nuggets I bake in the oven, which are also just okay but way cheaper), but the flexibility offered by the weird pricing made up for that.
Meals are just not worth it. Small combos add more than $3 to the cost, providing tiny drinks and fries. Large combos add almost $5 (or more, it's not consistent for some reason) to the cost. The "value" in meals comes from how expensive fries and particularly sodas are on their own ($2 for a small soda, over $4 for a large). Prefer diet drinks? Hope you like Coke or unsweetened tea, otherwise meals are even less appealing.
Most of the offers are disappointing. Small meals with small discounts on the normal overpriced price, and meals for two or more people that are meaningless for solo eaters and kinda restrictive for anyone in a group (especially since you only get one offer). Only the offers that provide free items (like the any-size fries) seem worth it.
The point system is there, but obviously requires regular purchases to get any real use out of it, and options are kinda limited until you move up in the tiers so opportunities to redeem points are less frequent. Doesn't compare well to Taco Bell's rewards, but then Taco Bell is still just a mere fast food place. Still, "free" is free, so it is something, when you have the points saved up.
It's counterintuitive, but the best way to get a decent value, assuming no points are involved, is by ordering just a sandwich and using the free any-size fries offer. Maybe add some nuggets if you want a little extra, winds up about the same as a small meal but with more stuff. Keep a drink on you and don't overpay...
Read moreManager Ilda was extremely rude. Ordered through the app for pickup and went through the drive through and gave them my name and order number. The person told me to pull forward and then told me that I didn’t pay for the order. I told them I did and she got the manager Ilda. She said we don’t have your order in the system and I told her that I have an email confirmation and also showed her the app. She then told me to go inside as to not hold other people in line up. I go inside and show her the email confirmation and confirmation on the app. She tells me I just have ordered at the wrong location even though the confirmation says the address. I asked her what this locations address is and she refused and then told me to step aside and continued to take orders from other people. This woman should be fired for being so rude. She didn’t want to address the issue so her solution was to try...
Read moreHello,
My first impression of this location is that it’s not properly managed, there is no structure, however the employees are very hard working and we’re trying hard to complete everyone’s meals. I’ve worked for the corporation in my teens and there should of been a supervisor delegating, specially during peak hours. This location did not have one at the time.
And for the dude in the lower comments concerned about the ranch, not all BK’s or Mc Donald’s are allowed to give away sauces for free. They are all managed differently. I’ve learned over the years that you have to let staff know ahead of time just incase they need...
