Solid deli with some creative offerings. It’s the cape, so food expectations should be knocked down a bit, but all in all you can get a decent, basic deli sandwich here.

They’re busy and wait times can be long. I’d highly recommend opening all of your sandwiches before you leave the deli, as the rushed pace often leads to mistakes. Today I ordered an attaboy, no tomato and add cheddar. Got one with no lettuce, lots of tomato, and no cheddar. The cheddar costs extra, and the tomato made the sandwich (destined for the beach) a soggy mess. So I paid extra for an inedible sandwich that had to go in the trash. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time my order has been messed up. The ticketing system they use makes it pretty clear what the order was supposed to be, so the person who made it just wasn’t paying attention.

Expect a wait, expect a basic, but creative deli sandwich, and double check to make sure you got the right stuff before leaving. Unfortunately this means literally unwrapping every sandwich before you leave, but that is...

Sam's Deli Experience Beware if you have allergies!!!!  Here year round and go often, and have been for over 20yrs. Used to love this place and now the workers are are liars and disrespectful.  Ordered a sandwich gf and with no cheese.   I gave it back as there was cheese on my sandwich.   He went to the girl who made it and told me there was no cheese on my sandwich.  I then in-turn, showed him the string of cheese.    He said it's the Mayo. It clearly was not.  Doesn't apologize for the mistake.  Continues to berate me as if I did something wrong ordering a sandwich without cheese.  I told him that being in the customer service industry you about the mistake and fix it without calling the customer a liar.  Then tells me - there is the door.  Poor customer...

Sam's Deli has delicious, unique sandwiches that are great for taking to the beach. They also have a wonderful selection of high quality groceries and beer, wine and seltzers! They have been taking COVID-19 guidelines very seriously and have a nice online ordering system in place. Beware that it may take a long time to receive your order though, so plan ahead and order early. We ordered through their website well before the lunch rush and it still took over 50 minutes. The email estimated our pick up time, but I arrived early hoping our sandwiches would be ready sooner than it said. They weren't, so I had to wait a while, but the sandwiches came out almost exactly when the email said they would. Overall a great experience and...
