Duchess Cookies — Restaurant in Easton

First I want to say this is strictly a product review. I placed the order via Grubhub so I have no comments on customer service or store aesthetic.

My order arrived very fast the cookies were still warm. I ordered 3 cookies, Ill start with my least liked most liked.

Galaxy cookie- black coconut cookie with milk chocolate ganache- i give the cookie it self a 1/10 it was flavorless not a hint of coconut but the texture was good just tasted like literal nothing, however the ganache was really good id give it 8/10 making this cookie about 4/10 for me.

Oatmeal apple pie- Overall was missing something the oatmeal cookie portion was on the bland side and filling coulda used some nutmeg or something idk i dont bake lol It just didnt hit 5/10.

Chocolate pecan with fudge filling- this was my favorite out of the 3. the cookie it self was filled with pecans (as it should) the chocolate flavor was there unlike the other cookies where the cookie it self lacked flavor and depended on the filling. The fudge filling was good but i can see this cookie being better with the milk chocolate ganache instead but...

Beware if you purchase a gift card from there.I purchased 8 $15 gift cards for a cookie exchange group that I am in around 12/5/24 because I was having surgery 12/13/24 and couldn’t bake cookies(the exchange was scheduled for 12/15/24). It never occurred to me to check the expiration date, when I was addressing the gift cards to each person a few days later I realized that all of them expired on 12/26/24! That gave my group barely 2 weeks to use the gift cards. When I went back to let them know they made a mistake the employee there let me know that her boss wrote the expiration date and she could not change it She called and left a message for her boss and told me that she asked her boss to call me back. I explained that I could not wait because I was getting surgery at the end of the week and I needed to get this resolved. After some back and forth I finally got her to change the expiration date from 2 weeks to 2 years. I am writing this review because the holiday season is right around the corner.
