Literally worst experience ever yesterday at Applebees. Our table ordered a lime house margarita on the rocks and a brewtus raspberry long island tea. The waitress brought out a mango margarita at least 10 min later. Told her it wasn't right, was supposed to be regular. 10 min later we finally get their first attempt at the brewtus raspberry long island tea, not a brewtus and was another top shelf raspberry drink, waitress said she couldn't read her writing and entered wrong, so not what we ordered. Literally half an hour later we finally get drinks we ordered. One of the individuals at it table ordered no lettuce tomato or onion, all of it came on her burger. I ordered french onion soup with my meal, didnt get it. When the waitress finally came back I told her I did not want to get charged for the french onion soup I ordered and no longer wanted it. She said, oh, you wont get charged, I didnt put it on there.... She asked if we needed anything else, I asked for the bill. We told her we expected the drinks would not be on our bill as the manager came over and apologized and said our drinks would not be on there and she would go split the bill, which should have already been done. 10 min later we get the bill. The bills weren't split up correctly and the two at our table who should've received the credit in the drinks didn't get it but one credit was issued on our bill along with one of the meals from the other couple at our table. We tell the waitress about error, she says well I took it off a bill and acted like it was ok even though it wasn't the right one. We said that doesn't help us, the drinks are still on the bill they should've been removed from!! Literally shocked but the incompetence now!! So she takes the bills, comes back 10 min later again, the one with the drinks was correct, weird how she did it, but whatever. However, now our bill, had all of our food and drinks on our bill.....unbelievable. We had enough and went to the manager. I'd also like to mention, we only had five people at our table. A table in the lower section had twelve at it, which showed up after us and ended up leaving before us, because they got served correctly. A table behind us with 3 guys, waited 15-20 minutes for tap beers and asked us what was going, which we shared our experience and they left due to poor service as well. I hope this is used as a training experience feedback for the Applebee's. If not, they may not make it much longer delivering this type of service. Good luck to anyone else who eats here, I'm...
Read moreI am absolutely taken back by the terrible customer service that the server gave. Our visit started off great. Appetizer came out great. Food took forever for some odd reason being it was not busy. But it was good. The one star I gave goes to the cook. Probably the only one with a brain in there tonight. I asked for our dessert to go... But apparently she didn't hear me ask for that to go or box for my little girls food. I gave her money to pay n told her to please just bring the bill and the change. Not thinking you could screw up on 2 ppl. I looked after she brought back my change. 3.39 for my daughter's kids lemonade? When I brought to her attention she looked at me like "sorry nothing I'm going to do". I asked her why this charge amount if her drink comes with her meal? Yes.. add something for flavor. I get that and was expecting that. She just looked at me dumbfounded. I asked her to ask her manager what's the protocol was since she was confused. Here comes this manager who walks up and says, "so there's something wrong with your bill?" I explained and he looks over at my daughter's glass and proceeds to tell me sorry about the miscommunication but there's still a whole lot left in that glass. WHAT??? He told me nothing he was going to do to fix my bill. I looked at him in awe. He says. Well I could get you a coupon?? But says it in such a manner that was condescending. Told him to get out of my way. I was leaving. Shame on you Applebee's. Retrain your manager. It was a simple mistake on my servers part that should've been corrected. I didn't want ANYTHING for free! Read moreUpdate to another visit: My daughter really wanted to come here for lunch. We arrived at about 12:10 at the latest. Our food did not arrive until after 1:00. People seated after us got their food before we did. When I got my chicken tender platter, I could not even believe the size of the tenders. I can get better tenders from Walmart. She did offer us dessert on the house when we finished eating, but I didn’t want to be stuck waiting another 45min for it. We watched two couples come in and wait to be greeted and no one ever said anything to them before they decided to walk out. The waitstaff looked at them but never acknowledged them or told them someone would be with them soon. I imagine this will be our last time here.
1st visit: It wasn’t terribly busy when we arrived. We were seated right away. It took our waitress over 15 minutes to even greet us and take our drink order, which by that time we already knew what we wanted to eat. Our drinks didn’t arrive until after our appetizer. Which it was just lemonade, so it wasn’t like we needed to wait for a bartender to make the drinks. The mozzarella sticks were barely warm. I got the quesadilla burger and the burger was broken up inside the quesadilla and like they just hoped the cheese would hold it together. The Alfredo had very little sauce. An incredibly disappointing visit. And I know we weren’t the only ones who felt that way. The table next to us ordered a drink to have with their meal and it wasn’t brought to their table until they had already eaten their food.
