I come here frequently, service and food is always good. Today there was an issue. I ordered a sandwich, 2 chips and a fountain drink. While my sandwich was being made I was talking to the guy taking the orders and the guy behind me. I get to the cashier and he told me the price but in the midst of talking I didnt hear what it was and proceeded to use my debit card to pay then remembered that I had a 25% off coupon and my total was still 22.64. As I was filling my fountain pop it dawned on my what the price was, even after the coupon was applied. I talked to the guy who rang up my order and I asked him "did I pay for the guy behind me also?" He said yes...I'm really sorry. The guy behind me also paid for his sandwich and had left. If he realized that he had made a mistake he should have said something to myself (i was right at the end of the counter) and the guy behind me but he said nothing to either of us. He also never made any attempt to give my money back to me. Was he purposely overcharging and keeping the money? He just mumbled something and then said to me oh wait a minute and handed me 2 buy one regular sub get one free coupons and said these are worth more than the price I charged you for his sandwich. I really didn't want the coupons, I wanted my money back. Plus I have to buy a sandwich in order to get the free one. Since i was short on time to get back before my lunch break was over I took them. Lesson learned...make sure the cashier rings up just your order and not the people behind you. If they do, hopefully they handle it better than...
Read moreI don't consider myself entitled, I like to think I give people the benefit of the doubt every time, however, blatant incompetence, over very basic procedures? I see that as a lack of training, or the management working their people in inhumane ways, like clopens (close shift, then opening shift the next morning)or just not caring by the employee. I went to this location, hoping for the normal experience where I get my food and leave, with no complaints or problems, but, I asked for Mayo, then extra relish, the guy slathered the top with relish, forgot the Mayo, then put at least a half a cup of mayo on top of the relish, the sandwich is inedible, it's more mayo than any other topping. I also asked for a half cut instead of quarters, 5 seconds later the guy cuts it in quarters, when I had asked him not to less than 10 seconds before. I will be requesting a full refund or 2 new sandwiches, not made by an ignoramus. 50 DOLLARS for 2 mounds of slop is...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. Walking into this Jersey Mike’s was like walking into a black hole of customer service—no greeting, no acknowledgment, nothing but blank stares. The guy making my sandwich looked completely lost, fumbling with the bread like he’d never handled food before.
And then, the cherry on top: after I had already placed my order, he looks at me while I’m on the phone and actually asks if I “needed help.” Are you serious? You just watched me order two minutes ago.
This staff wasn’t just untrained, they were rude, clueless, and moving at a pace that would embarrass a snail. A true clown crew—but without any of the entertainment value.
An absolute embarrassment of a location. Jersey Mike’s should be ashamed to have their name...
