I was shocked that the workers did not wear the masks and handled the food and drinks after touching the POS cashier machine and other eauipments without changing their gloves. They allowed walk-in customers without masks into this unventilated, tight space to place their orders and let them stay for more than 10 minutes INSIDE, while more people entered, without any social distancing effort.
Although their website says it is 'internet order/ pickup' required, they bent their own rule to operate the business almost the same as usual.
Sadly, people without masks casually walked in and out. Waiting for my food outside and Watching unmasked people entering and noticing them not leaving, I got anxious. When I entered unwillingly to pick up, the bag, it was behind the cashier counter and I had to pass by 2 other unmasked customers within 3 ft, to speak to the 2 unmasked workers, also within 6 ft. That was really unfair.
Other than me with mask and goggles on, 5 individuals were standing too close to each other without wearing masks at one point. 3 of them were anonymous. 2 were workers, without masks. This is how the virus could spread further and cannot be traced.
*Intentional neglect!
But, the staff in charge did not seem TOO worried, when I insosted they should wear masks for us. And, she still refused to wear her mask although she said she had one in her pocket.
The owner, she said, never restricted the customers to stay outside. As they are allowed Inside and WAIT LONG, he should have put out 'customers Wear masks inside' sign at the windows. Surely even this would be disobeying the statewide public lockdown effort.
6 other customers before me did not wear mask or any protective covers entered the place and they looked they didn't care as if there had been no Lockdown for over 40 days in constrast to other islanders who have been careful with each other at grocery stores and post offices.
The basic hygiene or virus prevention effort simply didn't exist. It looked like an ordinary takeout and waiting, except for me.
I won't support this business until the owner and Edgartown board of Health change their operational guidance to secure our healthy safety.

Read moreDespite the place not being crowded or busy, the girl who took the order for my family was quite rude and rushed. After our order was placed, she looked at us and with an annoyed tone said, "oh, you're all together?" There were five of us, looking very much like two parents with three kids. While we were waiting for our drinks, the same girl loudly told another two customers to get out if they had their drinks already. They were waiting for their friend to get her drink, and again, not crowded. She definitely could have asked more politely. Then my wife tried to ask the barista if her tea was sweetened, but he just grunted as if he couldn't be bothered. Thankfully the same rude girl (who only smiled once, when we put the tip in the jar) came over and informed that liquid sugar could be added. Maybe 3 stars would have happened if our kids frappes had been better. I liked my Spanish coffee, though. I realize taste is subjective, but the experience overall was very unpleasant due...
Read moreNever leave these kind of reviews, but being so terrible I had to. Not to mention it but ironically I own a speciality cafe in Sydney and know how to make coffee. I was served a ‘cappuccino’ that unfortunately could not have been worse.
It was genuinely 2/12 ozs full and the cup was filled with foam. I would never complain but it was so bad I had to. Instead of just even offering any help such as to make it again or just a refund the barista insisted to charge me for extra coffee, not understanding that the problem was the cup was literally empty. I was polite and just said it’s fine and walked out.
Not to add the iced matcha was not made correctly, having been room temperature and not mixed at all, tasting like dirt honestly.
Please train your baristas guys, an hour...
