Place is overhyped for food.

Ordered pork chops, the catch of the day which was fluke and the snapper. The best dish was by far the pork chops. Couldn’t eat the entire pork chop though because it was pretty undercooked by the bone (which I’m not complaining about because it’s hard to cook a pork chop through fully)

The fluke tasted not fresh. We just had fluke at a different restaurant the day prior which was incredible so we were highly disappointed in their preparation as well as the taste of it. And the snapper was overly salty and lacked any flavor besides the salt. For how expensive this place is and hyped up we expected higher quality food.

Also ordered the fried rice to try and all you could taste was soy sauce. Truffle potatoes were delicious and the...

I can’t remember the last time I’ve sent back a steak. I usually don’t mind if the temperature isn’t quite right, but when paying $60 for one (not including sides or sauces), the expectations are understandably higher. Three of us ordered medium rare filets and they were all easily two notches above that (medium well). It was mentioned to our (very nice) server and then the manager came out to argue why we were wrong and that you have to cut it in half and look at the very center of the filet. Okay, I’ll concede that the very, very middle was pink. The problem is that the other 70% was grey. My guess is the steaks were cooked cold from the fridge. So, by the time the very middle got to temp, the rest of the steak was toast. No remedy or hospitality was...

My Husband and Is just enjoyed an amazing dinner. We had the charred octopus which was accompanied by roasted potatoes, capers and a delicious sauce. We shared the Cowboy Steak and it was perfectly prepared and seasoned well. We had the brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese. Each dish was full of flavor and they remained warm in small cast iron skillets. The atmosphere was lively and the restaurant was nicely appointed. There are no large tables on the interior but there were accommodations for larger parties outdoors. It was a chilly evening and they were prepared with heat lamps. The service was very good. My Husband was pleasingly surprised they offered his favorite bourbon “Blanton’s”. We will be back again! A great spot for Date night. Hats off...

What an insanely fantastic gem on the Vineyard! This was hands one of our best meals ever had…like ever! From the local oysters to the cauliflower carbonara and the fantastic scallop crudo; there was nothing on the menu that was not impressive. On top of the memorable food, the service went further than expected and was impeccable. Cherry, our fantastic server set the stage for the wonderful birthday meal we were there to have. Thank you so much 19 Oysters/Prime Steakhouse for this memorable meal! We’ll be back soon, no doubt!

While vacationing at Martha's Vineyard with my sister, we dined at 19 Prime. The service was excellent. Our waiter, Ion, provided outstanding service. He was knowledgeable, kind, and amusing. His meal recommendations were excellent. He made our visit to 19 Prime a beautiful experience. Now let's talk about the food! Superb, Outstanding, Simply Delicious. The best meal we had while visiting the island. Thank you 19 Prime for an amazing experience.
