Siempre Natural 'Trenton' — Restaurant in Edinburg

This is a new review. It was at this location that I had syempre natural for the 2nd time, now it’s my 3rd. I have been to other locations but I can say this is my favorite. Their staff is friendly and they were patient with me as I made my choices. I loved this visit because the food was fresh, it was good and because they offered me the promotion I saved a dollar instead of going with my original order which I was very happy with because I got more food for less $$. This time I’m giving them 5 stars. I ordered a combo of fideo soup, chicken & grape salad, garden salad with cheese, sunflower seeds, corn kernels, and chipotle sauce; and a drink - all for under $10. The food is really good and the serving is perfect. It’s fresh and I just love it. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that when I went to get some sweet tea, it only filled my “medium cup” halfway, and it took them a while to refill it. I felt that I didn’t really get what I paid for. Tried to ask for an original yogurt with no fruit, just the granola and honey and was told that I would be charged extra for the granola and honey even though the menu has it listed with fruit, granola and honey. So I asked if they could just put the fruit separate so it wouldn't be soggy and they said they couldn't do that. I asked for the manager and she was sitting at one of the tables with her boyfriend and just said it couldn't be done. Nice place, service, pitas, soups and salads. Honestly they have the best poblano soup and chicken pita of the valley (it comes with avocado, Roman lettuce, fresh tomato, and beacon!) I have been coming for years and they have been improving it, recently they started crunching the pita a little bit more, oh gosh, heaven in the valley! Try the chipotle sauce with the chicken pitas to add more flavor! Canes’ sauce tastes nothing along side this sauce.
