Last weekend, we were visiting New Jersey from some other state and we were in a mood for nice gujarati thali. So we asked our friends who lives in that neighbourhood.
As per their recommendation, we went there. To my surprise, there was no other customer. There were people who came to pick up their catering order. We weren't sure about our meals, but then we decided why not..We are here, let's give it a shot.
First of all, food was really authenticate and fresh and they serve you personally. It feels great to have personal service (like back in Gujarat) Price was quite reasonable. If you eat indian food more often, you can easily tell if it's fresh or not. Since these people are in catering business; they always have fresh food. The curries were pretty decent except for the one we were really looking forward to - Undhiyo. This could have been better. The chapatis were phenomenal! Thin and perfectly cooked.
