I've eaten Five Guys burgers for 15 years. I was lucky to learn of them around the time they started their massive franchising. This location in Edmond offers the same great tasting burgers I had on the East Coast. My one disappointment was the lack of the extra scoop of fries. For those who do not know, Five Guys fries are scooped into a paper cup then placed in a paper bag. They then take another scoop and pour that into the top of the bag. To my dismay, my order of fries at the Edmond location was just the paper cup with relatively little spillover and no where near the extra scoop I've come to expect. It may just have been a fluke. I'll keep a closer eye next time and update if the norm is the expected...
Read moreBurgers and fries delicious! Update: The flavor of their burgers haven't changed, but the size of burger patty seems to have thinned down while the prices have increased!!! We used to could order 2 burgers, 1 large and 1 regular fries, no drinks and be out the door for under $25 Now it's about $37 to get our food. I understand to a point especially with our economy these days, but really a $12 increase is a bit much... IF YA'LL ARE GONNA increase your prices then don't change the sizes of your original portion burger patties. Don't downsize and increase, that's a huge mistake. Dropping the 5 stars! It will be quite a while before we'll return here. Sorry...
Read moreFood is delicious, however it is a bit more expensive than youd expect. They do not have combos therefore you pay for a burger, plus an order of fries (which they claim can be shared but it isnt a huge amount) and a drink. Their burgers are delicious and you can tell they care about freshness. I have also delivered for Rive Guys a lot and they have poor "to go" packaging. The bags rip, the foods grease leaks everywhere, the burgers fall out of the wrapping, it's terrible. They need to work on finding a better alternative to either the sacks they use or the way they wrap the foods inside. I have had entire orders spill out of the bottom of the sack...
