I had a to-go order a little over a week ago. Their online ordering service, Snapfinger, was down, so I had to call it in. I get home and see that they didn’t put the chili on the side of the spud and worse than that, it wasn’t even veggie chili, so I couldn’t eat anything. In addition, they forgot the tomatos, green onion and sour cream- it was just cheese and chili. They also forgot to add lettuce to a sandwich, but that’s not a big deal. I did go ahead and call and the manager sent 2 free meal vouchers. I told her just one was fine, but she said it’s standard and I thanked her. Today I go to cash-in the voucher. They did get the veggie chili correct, but forgot the cheese and the sour cream for the potato- cheese being a main staple of a baked potato. Also, my four-cheese griller was nearly as hard as a rock. My dogs had to chew forever just to get it down, as it was worthless to me. It’s time to take a break from McAlister’s or just drive a little further to the Memorial location.

My wife and I both ordered a salad when they placed it on the table what was obvious was that much of the lettuce was old it had already changed colors and that was obvious to us and should have been obvious to the staff in the kitchen and the person serving the food. We also noticed the place to be very dirty the photographs that are associated with this review shows a lot of dust that is more than one day old I would estimate at least a week which means whoever’s job it is to make sure the place is clean and the tables are wiped down is not doing a good job. I personally observed the boy pick up after a couple had left and he wiped the table only in areas where their drinks had been he did not wipe the entire table nor did he take notice of the large amount of dirt on the ledge. One of the photographs will show the large amount of dust that was collected on the napkin holder this would be obvious to any employee delivering the food or cleaning up afterward.

Edit: McAlister's Deli has stepped it up, I am inpressed. While my original review (see below) consisted of 4 stars, (good) I may have judged too quickly. We went for dinner on a Saturday night and was treated to a wonderful meal (Pictures below). Eddie was the GOAT and gave me a free cookie along with asking if we needed refills and making sure our needs were always met. While the restaurant was less busy than usual, he was still excellent. I'm sure they have rough times when it's busy, (because everyone likes it) but any restaurant would. I would recommend this location for anyone wishing to have a pleasant dinner experience. Original Review: This was a good after church Sunday lunch, I got the spud max which was great(see pictures below), but usually don't like eating here because I prefer fried chicken lol but it was still pretty good. Experience was average for the usual expectations and they did everything they were supposed to.

Jordan, the GM was extremely rude and racist to my Hispanic husband. I placed a pick up order through Uber eats for my husband to go get us lunch on Sunday, June 4th at 12:30 for pickup time. The place was decently busy, and the girl up front told my husband she’d be right with him which was absolutely understandable. Then Jordan came over in a very rude tone and asked my husband if he’d been helped yet. My husband told him no, and what the order was. Jordan had an attitude when he got the order. He didn’t even hand it to my husband, he plopped it down on the counter. and then he asked for mayo packets and Jordan was once again rude. Jordan stared at him and ina. Monotone voice goes “yeah” and then my husband asked him for a few. Jordan then walks off and comes back and hands them to him. My husband thanked him and he just walked away with An attitude. When my husband came home he was a bit confused and upset because Jordan was friendly to the white people who were dressed nice. But he shows up with tan skin and basketball shorts on because we’re Sunday cleaning, and gets treated differently?! So I call the store and Jordan answers. I ask if he’s the GM, he replies yes. Because my husband had seen he was dressed differently than the other workers. I asked him if it was a franchise or corporate. He told me franchise. I asked for the number. He asked why I needed it, and I explained he was rude and seemed to have a racial problem with my husband given that he was nice to the white people there. Jordan kept telling me he never handed out an order today so far, and then asked for my order information which I provided via the Uber eats pickup information on my phone and told him when my husband picked it up. He kept telling me he didn’t hand out orders in a VERY rude tone so I told him he had an attitude now on the phone with me further proving my point. He says “well yeah, but I don’t remember that order.” So you can have an attitude with customers because you don’t remember? He finally gives me the franchise owners number and I will be contacting her Monday as he says I can’t reach her on weekends which is fine. We usually come to this location after Sunday service at life church for lunch with our son. But this isn’t the first racial bias issues we’ve had with McAllisters so this will be it for us. My husband is a corporate manager, not a piece of scum. This was ridiculous. Just because he’s Latino and didn’t dress up to get our food? We will be telling everyone about this bias today and Jordan’s attitude. I won’t give my money to a racist establishment, or one that hires and allows racist behaviors from employees. Never again. You...

Always great food this time it was okay my chicken sandwich was a bit dry compared to normal and my Mac and cheese was cold but could be to the fact that I pressed I was present for curbside pick up from the app and i was 2 mins past when it said my food was ready 4:45 but I arrived at 4:47 waited outside thankfully for only 5 mins then decided maybe they aren’t paying attention and headed inside first girl I talked to no smile as I came in and approached the counter told her I’d been outside for 5 mins waiting that I had pressed I was at a designated spot on the app for curbside pick up didn’t check the order pickup register or ask the employee assigned to that register if there was an order or offer even an excuse just kinda acted like she brushed it off a blonde girl then asked me with at least a little concern what the name was and she checked and explained to me i guess someone was working on the system the day before but it didn’t “beep annoyingly” they said it is suppose to beep and keep beeping but apparently never made a sound but I always have customer service issues with this establishment girl with brown hair and and tan skin seemed very uncaring and unwelcoming the blonde at least offered me and explanation and pointed me in the direction of the cubbies where they place to go orders at least so I could see if it was there yes it was but the purpose is why offer curbside if I have to come in...

Today my grandchildren and daughter, visiting from Chicago, took me to McAlister's, as I told them it's the best (also one of the very few places I can get excellent vegan food). I ordered my favorite meal, the SW chicken salad (chicken goes to highest bidder) and three giant veggie spuds. Our takeout order was ready quickly, and we went home to dine. Everyone really enjoyed their sandwiches, my salad was a work of art, but alas, no giant veggie spuds! Just three veggie sandwiches -- no good, I can't eat bread. So my granddaughter called the restaurant and spoke with one of the managers, Becca, who made it all right. She had the baked potatoes made, and offered to refund the money, but my granddaughter didn't take the card with her when she went to pick up the spuds, so Becca included a very delicious treat, which just happened to be my daughter's favorite dessert. Awesome! Thnx, Becca! You saved the day. Becca was polite, friendly, efficient, and professional, a true asset to McAlister's deli. Well done! One more thing: McAlister's food was excellent before lockdown in 2019, and is just as excellent now. Very few restaurants can say that. Thnx for making our little party such a success. May God bless...
