I checked out this place, because my daughter let me sample her food from here. It was good. I have been 3 times now in a month. My 1st experience was great the tall guy with the curly hair was nice and helpful. The short petite girl was just as nice. My 2nd experience was just as great and I had the mini meal with 2 meats. The service was great and pleasant! How can I not come back. My 3rd visit was Very unpleasant. Date 7/19. I arrived around no later than 930p. 3 employees were in the backdoor smoking. I knew I was in trouble. I went inside, there was a guy cleaning the grill and it was pulled out from the wall and in the way of the food prep area. The smoking employees came back inside, I watched them through the door that separates the kitchen from the front, and not one person Washed their hands. They came in looking to see who was going to help me she walked right in, grabbed a box and started taking my order. I was grossed out and amazed that she did not want to wash her hands. The guy that put my meat in the box, didn't wash his hands either. There is a sink not far from the food prep area and they didn't use it. The disregard and uncleanness of those employees makes me not want to ever come back to this place. They need to be re-trained on sanitation in the food industry. To top it off, my rice was so gummy and overcooked, it was not edible. The pulled pork was dry and not as tasty as it should have been. I'm Very disappointed with my visit and the service. It should have been better and it wasn't. My food wasn't great either and that's money lost. I will have to try the other locations to see if they...
Read moreI went on a Friday at 6:30 pm. There were only two tables seated when we walked in and the drive-thru had three or four vehicles waiting. I expected to wait for a bit given the day/time, but didn't think it would take long since the setup is similar to Subway, Qdoba, Chipotle, etc. You go in, say what you want, your meal is built for you in front of you, you pay, and you're on your way. However, the wait was 1.5 hours with only ten or so parties ahead of us, primarily because they didn't prep enough in advance going into a Friday dinner service. The entire line of employees looked like they had no idea what was going on or what to do. The cashier was running food to tables as meat came off the grill, but the amount being cooked was never enough. They ran out at least twice before we even ordered and again when we finally did. When the food arrived, the kalua pork and teriyaki chicken were pretty good and the macaroni salad was delicious. The teriyaki steak had so much connective tissue that knives couldn't cut it and we couldn't chew it. The amount of food given was generous, though. All in all, I'll go back for that pork and macaroni salad, but not for a while. They need to figure out how to run the...
Read moreHave come here a handful of times. First couple of visits the experiences were pleasant, but slowly starting to decline unfortunately. Portions depend entirely who is working that day as it’s always different. Sometimes the chicken teriyaki is burnt, so I stick to the teriyaki steak and Katsu chicken. While good, there is always a wait in the drive-thru when ordering this particular combo. Last night, we were told it would be a 6 min wait because they didn’t have Katsu ready, asked us to park and someone would bring it out. Waited over 10, walked in after seeing cars come and go with their orders in the drive-thru with no wait…they said they “forgot” to make the order after asking what was taking so long. Offered some free cookies for the inconvenience, but we declined.
Only DoorDashed once from here, and they didn’t make the dasher confirm the order so the first one stole my food. The new dasher had to explain the situation after 40 min went by and after they realized the fault was on their side, they re-made the order for the new dasher to bring to me. Only gave one Teriyaki sauce for $40 worth of food.
OKC location is more competent. Unless you’re eating in, I wouldn’t go to...
