ETown — Restaurant in Edwards

We were a party of 7, including 3 toddlers. We were seated outside on a Sunday afternoom. The restaurant was about half full. After sitting for 20 minutes, a server stopped by and explained that we weren't her table, but that she would pass on our drink orders and kids food order, and then are actual server would take the adult food orders. The kid's food was delivered, but after 55 minutes we had not received any water or drinks. We attempted to help ourselves by getting a pitcher if water, but were scolded and shooed back to our table. Then 2 waters were delivered, but no other drinks and 5 people didn't have waters. We asked to place the adult food order and the server completely ghosted us. After over an hour, we closed our check to eat elsewhere. The manager at no time came out if her office to help manage. Miss the old vibe, food and staff! We’ve been frequenting eTown for years, but not as much lately since the change in ownership at the start of ‘25.

On our most recent visit the other night due to our 1st choice in Edwards being closed briefly due to the off-season, we were promptly sat, but it went downhill from there!

After about 10 mins, we were given water by the hostess and she eventually returned to take our drink order as no waitstaff ever initiated contact with us. After another 10+mins and having to inquire about our drink order at the bar, the drinks arrived shortly thereafter.

The food arrived 5 mins later and was mediocre at best.

And I’m pleased to report that the men’s restroom is as foul smelling as ever! To be fair, this issue has persisted for years and I’m baffled as to why the new owners cannot figure it out and fix it.

Hit or miss. Mostly miss though, sadly. We really want to like this place, but they always fall short. Today was an absolute bomb. The “sushi grade” tuna tasted fishy and was brown. The dessert we ordered while our two toddlers fussed took a half hour… for 1 scoop of ice cream. The donuts we ordered literally never came. We were told to stay several times, that they were coming now. The manager even gave us a gift card and apologized. Then we finally decided to leave. We told the waiter out of consideration and he said, “cool.” Which prompted me to write this review. No apologies for the several times of over promising. The waiter seemed like a nice guy really could have found a better choice of words. I hope we will be able to look past all of this and come back someday to use the gift card since we paid for...
