Green Earth Grocery — Restaurant in Edwardsville

Never had a great experience with this place. Back in the day I used to shop here all the time before vegetarian food became the norm at chain grocery stores. The workers there have never been the friendliest, funny considering they are all a bunch of peace and love the earth, organic hippies. Just went back after 10 years and received the same treatment. Stood at the register and patiently waited while a worker helped another customer on the floor. Once she finally came over to ring me out she didn't even look at me, I got no "hello", no "thank you", no "have a nice day". And she was an older woman too, in her 50s-60s, so you think she'd be better versed in the art of customer service more so than these young hipsters from the "it's all about me" generation. Typical...

Stopped in because i was looking for organic sweet potatoes to help with my garden escapades 🌱. I never even knew that this place was around until i searched up organic grocery stores! Such a cute little shop, and they sell really good brands too. The lady behind the counter was also nice and attentive :). Plus, I like that they carry a wide variety of local honey from within the area. Will definitely be back if i ever need something grown with a little...

Stopped by to look for teas, or low carb bread, and to look for supplements I read about.  While looking at vitamin aisle, I kept being asked if I needed help to find something. I said i was just looking. All watching me like a hawk. finally minutes later, an older woman with a frown asks me the same.  I decided to pay for the tea and leave. I can buy the same exact crap at Amazon for half the price anyway. I wasn't there to steal...
