I went to this restaurant on Saturday, February 1, 2025, around 8 pm. I was disappointed to see the dining room with 6 dirty tables that were never cleaned the entirety of my visit. Service was lacking due to the fact that only 3 employees were working: 2 kitchen staff and 1 waitress. The kitchen was busy with togo orders and dining room orders. The food took a while to be served. The food incomparison to other Indian restaurants was average. The rice was good. The portion size was small to average. The restaurant was out of the appetizers I wanted. The flavors of the butter chicken and chicken Tikka marsala were good but didn't have the bold robust flavor other restaurants offer. I do not recommend the goat dishes. All the goat is served with bone, that is the only option. 80% of what I was served was bone, very little meat. The meat on the bone had a lot of gristle and was not tender. The l flavor was good, though. There was plenty of parking, and despite being an open dining room, the background noise and conversations we not intrusive. All in all, it was a fair experience. I'll give it another go... hopefully, they are better staffed.

Went for the first time since the pandemic yesterday at their new location after craving Indian food for a while. I can do tikka masala at home but it’s never authentic. Anyways I almost started drooling the second we walked in the door. My husband and I each got a mango lassi which were delicious. We ordered the mixed naan, butter paneer masala and each our own chicken tikka masala. Everything smelled and tasted fantastic. The garlic naan is so simple but good. The woman that was taking care of us would check in often and was so sweet. One thing that I love about experiencing other cultures is the way everyone varies their recipes, especially with popular dishes. Their tikka masala tastes different than all the others I have had but in a good way. Everyone has their own taste or preference and I think experiencing it all is so important. I thought the pricing was fine too. Were ordered quite a bit and thought the portion sizes and etc were fine. I can’t wait to go back. Their new location is nice and spacious too so good for groups.

I would rate Taj Indian Cuisine 4.5 stars. This family-owned restaurant offers a lovely atmosphere that truly enhances the dining experience. The service, while slightly slow, is understandable and doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment. The food at Taj Indian Cuisine is where it truly shines - the flavors are authentic and delicious, making it a must-visit for those who appreciate Indian cuisine. From traditional dishes to unique flavors, this restaurant offers a wide variety of options that are sure to satisfy any craving. Don't miss out on the opportunity to try this gem of a restaurant if you're a fan of Indian cuisine.

I hate to say it, but this honestly might have been the worst restaurant I've ever been to.

First off, it's a bit messy and chaotic. That's fine though and honestly wasn't a major complaint.

When we walked in, there was no staff in sight, but someone came out with a carry out order and kinda waved for us to find a seat. That's no problem. We sat down right by the front desk.

After 15 minutes of still seeing no staff, someone in our party went and grabbed two menus they saw laying on the counter. We all just shared the two menus for the seven of us. Another 15 minutes later or so, someone finally came over with waters for the table. They didn't ask if we wanted anything else, just passed out waters and left. We had to go to the counter again to get straws.

Sometime later... 20 more minutes? I don't know... Finally someone came over to collect our orders.

After that, it was over 1 hour, 30 minutes before we got our food. They did come over and refill our waters one time in that 90 minutes, but that's it. When the food finally came, they had forgotten the food for two of my children plus a side on my wife's. We reminded them about the children's food and then they quickly brought out literally WAY undercooked chicken that was pink and cold to the touch. Needless to say, my kids didn't eat it and ate only rice that was on a separate plate.

The rest of the food was very mediocre. To be honest, it had no spice at all like you'd expect from an Indian restaurant (I ordered their spice level 3, but it was more like a 0). It also had almost no flavor. My lamb vindaloo was an entirely different color from my wife's chicken vindaloo and both had different tastes. As far as Indian restaurants, this food was probably some of the worst I'd ever had. Which was too bad because the entire 2 hours we were waiting here I kept hoping maybe the food would be great and make up for everything else. It definitely did not.

After 20 or so minutes, everyone was pretty much done. We walked up to the counter to pay. To be honest, given we didn't actually get food for 2 of the 7 people in our party (plus again, no side from my wife's), I half expected them to apologize and even discount the meal. They did neither. I could have complained and pushed them to remove the food we didn't get, but I was with extended family and kids, it was 9 PM at night, and we all just wanted to get out of there quickly. I paid and left and will certainly never be back.

Before going, I had noticed this restaurant had a 4.2/5 rating. I have no idea how. There's other reviews from months ago and even over a year ago with similar experiences to ours tonight, so I should have known, but I didn't read the reviews in detail before we went. If you decide to take the risk, just keep your expectations very, very low and don't be in a...

I’m a little torn about how many stars to give. I’ve eaten here about 4 times in the various places they have been located. The food is DELICIOUS. Service tends to be a bit “leisurely.” Until the last time I was there 4 stars was totally appropriate. But our last meal there (first in the current location), the service was absurdly slow despite there being at least 4 employees walking around from place to place in the front presumably doing things, but none of those things being taking orders or delivering food to anyone. It was not busy, they did not appear short-staffed, I really have no idea what caused there to be the absolute slowest service I’ve ever experienced. It was so inexplicable I honestly considered the possibility we were being punked. It was nearly 2 hours from the time we were seated to when we got our check, and no more than 20 min of that was us eating. If that had been my first experience I’d have given 1 star and never gone back (a table of 10 or more walked out after being seated for over 20 min without having had orders taken or even water brought). I will go back once more to confirm if my experience was just a fluke. If it happens again, I’ll stick with Mr. Curry which is just as good, cheaper but not as...

This is my first time writing a review and I have to say that this place was extremely underwhelming. When we walked in we waited about 10 minutes to be seated in a restaurant with only 4 other people. All the booths were empty yet they still hadn’t been cleared off. When we were seated we received water with dirty glasses and we watched as the lady pouring the water had her hands up and down the rim after having run her hands through her hair and in her nose. Needless to say we left out waters untouched. We waited about an hour for our food and the waiter apologized for the wait because they were “busy” meanwhile at this point there were only 2 other customers. The food itself was also a let down. The chicken tikka masala wasn’t bad but it was surprisingly tasteless, the garlic naan was good but the masala had gone a bit cold. Also the portion sizes were quite small compared to other Indian restaurants I have been to. The service overall was terrible and we were left waiting for our check only to receive the wrong one. I will say that they had very few people working however I feel like that doesn’t excuse the many errors that this restaurant had to offer, especially since it was...
