The Human Bean — Restaurant in Effingham

I am a current and future customer of the human bean! I love the local store that I frequent daily ……sometimes twice a day shhh…. No judgement…. I have to say that not only is my local store amazing with the best girls ever working there. I also have had several instances where the amazing staff at the corporate office got to assist me with. I am truly impressed by the individuals that this company employs!!! Every single person i have had the pleasure of interacting with have been absolutely wonderful!! I have never once had a bad experience across the boards including today with a support member who was just so nice and helpful!!! Thank uou so much for your expertise! I appreciate you very much. I literally got off the phone and chose to inform others about this! These people will go above and beyond their necessary jobs to provide their customers with the help and support they are seeking!! Thank you again! And to the tech support team i want to say…. Good work you have a difficult job abd you don’t get enough credit for what you all do! Its safe to say you are definitely my favorite...

I had high hopes for this stop this morning, but it was a little lack luster. The barista was friendly and took my order w a smile on her face. I asked if this was a franchise and she explained it is but stemming from the west coast & this was the first location in Illinois. We ordered 2 iced breves, and by the time I got to the car, all the ice in my cup was gone. I almost walked back to ask for more ice, but we needed to get going. The taste was nothing to be too excited about either, so that was a bummer, but it was more affordable than other coffee shops we've hit on this trip. Maybe other options taste better. My husband ordered an extra shot of espresso & wondered if they even added it. It was darker than mine, so we think it was just very weak in flavor. Disappointed but I hope...

I live in a town where 2 interstates intersect with each other. For those of us who rely on these roads, it is congested with a lot. Down the road a little is this wonderful drive-through. I occasionally stop here. My town doesn't have a shortage of coffee shops and drive-throughs. Keep The Human Bean and the local spots. The rest, Dunkin and Starbucks, can leave town. The staff at The Human Bean have always been friendly, kind, and make an amazing beverage. Check out their menu. The app is available. They have an amazing breakfast sandwich that is made from a jalapeño and cheese biscuit. Yes, that and a beverage of choice will set any morning commute on a great start.
