Sack O' Subs EHT — Restaurant in Egg Harbor Township

I had heard about this sos for a long time. I took my husband and I over there for a quick pick up dinner. It was not worth it at all. My husband’s cheesesteak was very meager. My Italian sub was fair but was also meager. It had maybe one half onion ring of a raw onion, one half of a tomato slice, I did get mayonnaise but they did not use any oil, although I requested it. The meat was fine but the meat and cheese were sparse. The bread took over the insides. BUT WORST OF ALL, I asked for oregano but I guess they didn’t have any so they used—at least I think they used poultry seasoning. That’s what it tasted like and looked like. Hey, spring for the oregano— the Shop Rite store is around a block away! I won’t be back. Maybe they were having a bad day but besides that—where I come from, we call them hoagies. What local calls them subs—I know, they’ve been around for ages. I used too frequent them in Ocean City in the nineties but I was not impressed with...

WASTE OF $30 AND ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CHEESESTEAKS EVER.. We Ordered a pizza stk. With Mushrooms & a Pepper stk. With FO & Mushrooms (Sunday Oct 1st apx 1145am) The older woman at the counter was very Friendly and I wish that was enough to make us go back..(but its Not) The FO were NOT fried but they weren't Raw,maybe you could call them steamed or heated up in the microwave?? Idk they still had A lot of crunch to them, The green peppers advertised as "Fried" were anything But fried (atleast Fry them ahead of time and warm them up with the meat,Maybe turn the grill On next time?! And All the mushrooms were straight out of the can and Cold (I dont mind canned mushrooms at all, but again for God sake Fry them) EVERYTHING you put on that flat top should have "fry" marks and it was All (cold and u fried) just piled on the top of the meat/cheese ... Dont waste your money or time on...

I really like the food here and it is really a shame that they have some workers that ruin my feelings towards this place. Two workers were staring at my little sister, making dirty faces and laughing to each other. My sister was wearing a crop top and her stomach was out. One worker stared at my sister, looked down at her stomach, back up before starting to laugh to himself and turn to talk to the other worker. I called after we left to just say 'hey some of your workers made my sister really uncomfortable while we were there' and I got 'oh um they just talk amongst themselves, they probably didn't mean anything by it'.
