Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Egg Harbor Township

Very disappointing visit to our go-to fast food chain. We wanted a reliable easy meal coming home from the shore and were immediately put off by overflowing trash cans and ketchup spread across the floor. My mom ordered the side kale salad and the register woman had no idea what that was even though it was on the menu behind her. When the food arrived, there was no side salad even though it was charged to the bill. When she asked about the salad the counter took her receipt (which was not returned) and started making it fresh, full of annoyance.

The dining room was largely empty, but many of the tables still had food and trash from previous diners.

When the food did arrive, the search for forks was unsuccessful and the front counter had to be asked for that as well.

The sauces that we requested (since Chick-fil-A everywhere is now counting sauces and charging accordingly) never arrived even though they were also charged to the bill. We had to talk to the counter again.

When I went to take my potty training toddler to the bathroom, after a successful attempt, the water from the automatic flush sprayed out of the toilet and, yes, right into my proud toddler’s face! Having already become the enemy to the staff I decided it was no longer worth it and we left.

The food was still better than other places, but the service was not what we have come to expect from Chick-fil-A. I would avoid this location if possible, the staff and facilities make the extra few dollars you pay for the brand frustratingly...

I go to this location roughly 3 times per week. I love the food and most of all, it's consistency. I use the app and it makes ordering super easy. I'm also very impressed with the professionalism and attitude of your employees.

There is something I'd like to bring to your attention. This may be a very small issue to you in the grand scheme of things but honestly it seemed a bit ridiculous. I went through the drive thru on Tuesday at 11:13 am online order #47156. I got a strips meal and and Ice dream cup for my golden retriever who was in the car with me. They handed me the large soda then the bag. I did not check inside as I've never had an issue. I drove off and when I got home, I discovered they never gave it to me. No big deal.... I figured I'd just tell them on my next visit. Well, I went again today and after I told them I had a Mobil order. I let them know about the missing item from 2 days ago. The employee then asked me if I had called. I said no. The item was only $1.35 and I figured they would just replace it. I even described the employee that waited on me. Her response was....if you didn't call, there is nothing I can do. I said, are you kidding me? Nope...So my Golden Retriever was disappointed 2x this week at the same drive thru. Like I said, small issue but big disappointment on the way it was handled.

I will almost always give Chick-fil-A a five star rating if for no other reason than their corporations value of the family and family values. I will save any problems to be included in the written review itself. Fortunately the only minor problem I have with this store is the same thing I have with several of the restaurants I have been to and that is their parking lot. One of the two jobs I have during this bad economy is as a school bus driver where I do a lot of athletic trips, many of which will stop for food on the way home from their games. Unfortunately many of the Chick-fil-A parking lots are not bus friendly meaning it is difficult to drop the kids off close to the door to limit the amount of area they are walking across traffic, and then once you have dropped them off you will need to find a place to park the bus where the surrounding stores will not ask you to leave if in their lot. Other than that there really isn't much more negative to say since after parking I did go in and was able to watch as people got their food in a timely manner and all seem to enjoy it. I know that on the couple occasions I have decided to purchase a meal rather than wait till I get home to cook something it has always been good with my most recent experience of eating at one of the stores purchasing the grilled chicken nuggets as well as the frozen lemonade, both good...
