I was really excited to try this place out and unfortunately I am disappointed by the pricing/portions. I was charged $15 for a burrito that barely had any meat in it (at this point it was a Vegetarian Burrito). I have no problem paying $15 for a burrito, however it needs to be worth that. The value provided for my money should be equal to the quality of the product I receive.
If I wanted a wrap with rice I would have done it from home. My wife ordered a Chicken Quesadilla that she found pieces of steak in (cross contamination), are we keeping in mind food allergies? I only ask because I have severe food allergies and would like to know that they would be taken into consideration.
They are charging full service restaurant prices at quick service standards, while delivering little value for the price. I say this because $15 for what I was provided (no soft drink, or a side, and little to no meat) is steep.
It’s not like I was dining in to be able to enjoy any additional service that might added more value. I had to waste gas to drive 18 minutes to go get it, just to be throughly disappointed.
I understand that this is a business and food costs have gone up which causes the restaurant to charge more. As I said before, my issue is not the price but the value provided for the price.
In spite of my disappointment, my wife did still enjoy her meal and the flavors for what it is worth were decent. I am a big supporter of small businesses. I am only offering this feedback as a chance for improvement in the future because I do truly want this business and others like...
Read moreA few weeks ago my daughter was asking for churros so I searched churros on google maps and Taqueria Michoacán popped up. We took one bite of the churro and the rest is history!! They were hot, fresh and so delicious! Since then we’ve ordered atleast 5 times and dined in once so far. I’ve tried the carne asada tacos with yellow corn tortillas, chicken quesadillas, birria and churros. It is so hard to especially find FRESH, DELICIOUS carne asada tacos and churros!!! They give so much meat in the tacos and the flavors are just perfect. I love both salsa verde and salsa rojo (just the right amount of spice!). Whenever I call they are super friendly, professional and kind. Something a lot of restaurants lack nowadays. I really appreciate the great customer service here. When we dined in the waitress was very attentive and helpful. The portions are GREAT. I can’t say enough things about this place. I’ve already told a lot of mi familia so they will be coming soon as well. Best of all , my 5 year old is a super picky eater and I mean SUPER picky. She cannot get enough of the chicken quesadillas here! I was so happy when she gave it TWO thumbs up!! She wanted me to say “mommy, tell them their quesadillas are the best in the world. Thank them for making delicious quesadillas! We love them. Please don’t ever stop making them.” The child has spoken! Thank you for bringing your amazing food and service to the area. It was...
Read moreWhat an incredible find this place turned out to be! I'll admit, my usual spot for Mexican is Taco El Tio, but Taqueria Michoacan has truly impressed me. Yesterday was my inaugural visit, and I can confidently say it won't be my last. A restaurant full of people speaks volumes about its popularity; every table and booth was occupied, along with other diners patiently waiting for a spot. Even though it was super budy, the staff remained remarkably welcoming, offering greetings at every turn.
So, for my first experience, just to test the waters I opted for simplicity: a chicken burrito and a classic quesadilla. After all, it's hard to screw those up, right? Well, let me tell you, they nailed it. The chicken burrito was a behemoth, perfectly balanced with its fillings and flavor. And the quesadilla? So good! In fact, I had to save it for lunch today because I was too full from last nights burrito lol! It reheated beautifully in the toaster oven, retaining all its deliciousness.
But let me tell you, one of the true stars of the show was an unexpected hero: their salsa verde. Sheesh, it was the bomb! As a lover of all things spicy, I found its freshness and heat to be downright addictive. Next time I'm doubling up on all things salsa verde. Actually, I think I might ask them if they can sell me a container of it LOL! Taqueria Michoacan, consider me a devoted regular from here on out. Keep up the...
