Jack's Beach House — Restaurant in El Paso

I want to like this place because if it’s close proximity to where i do business, as well as the offering of some decent food and drink specials. But the last few times that we have gone, on Tuesday specifically ($1 tacos), the service no matter what time of the day is terrible! We have attrmpted for lunch mostly, then yesterday for a quick dinner. Went last night to try and order some drinks and tacos, server took our order, initially ordered non alcoholic drinks to quench the thirst, but after she took our order she never came back to see if we needed anything. After about 40 min of waiting on an order of 12 mini tacos (mind you we were sitting at the bar and had a direct view if the kitchen), seeing the cook on his phone, drinking a land shark, i asked her as she rushed bye if our order had been put in. She just said, “its being made.” Again, no attentiveness to see if we were going to order anything else, and the cook in no hurry to get the order done, still sipping and texting away.

The tacos are good, but not that good. Walked out, called in an order to go at Paulinas Billiards in the valley on the way home. Better tasting, better service 100%… hot fresh tacos and cold drinks ASAP. Never...

I Miss Vivian.. different girl (bartender) had 12 people in bar including me... she was helping her regular customers and friends .. yet I'm there looking at her for 9 min as she pours beers in front of me n shots.. she can't acknowledge me at all and say HI I'll be right with you.. nothing.. yet she's maybe 4 feet away from me... Terrible customer service..to ignore customers n lose business... I have been a regular there for years.. I like the atmosphere yet when you can't even get the bartender to look and acknowledge you when the bar is 99% empty.. time to find another bar that is more helpful to customers that will acknowledge them as they sit at bar. Dont get me wrong they do have other bartenders at nite that are Great.. but i got off early for happy hour n was not served at Jacks. YET !!!. VAL.. at wing daddys... she was most appreciated as she saw me n took my order in under 1 min.... with 20 people in the bar AWESOME SERVICE ...

I had the pleasure of being served by Yasmin at the bar recently, and I genuinely can’t say enough good things about her. From the moment I walked in, she created a warm and welcoming atmosphere with her bright smile and attentive nature. Yasmin struck the perfect balance between being friendly and professional—she was engaging without ever being intrusive.

Her drink recommendations were spot-on, and she made sure everything came out just right, checking in at just the right times. You could tell she genuinely cared about the experience of everyone at the bar. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit, but Yasmin did just that. Her energy and hospitality really made the night memorable.

I’ll definitely be coming back and that too not just for the drinks, but for the amazing service that Yasmin brings to the place. She’s a real gem...
