If I could give negative stars I would for service. Went to this establishment yesterday. When I tried paying for my order by the tap feature, it malfunctioned. The cashier called for another employee saying, and I quote, "it did it again". The other employee came and tried my card three times before telling me it was declined. I proceeded to check my account and saw it had less of a balance than I had seen before. Being that there was a line and the employee was waiting on me. I asked for her to cancel part of my order thinking it was my mistake. She charged me for the meal and I went to sit down. In doubt I checked my bank account again to see why my balance was low. I saw that the first transaction for the original order had gone through and the new charge also went through. I went to explain to the cashier and she called the manager. The manager came and I showed her the original transaction had gone through and that I was charged twice. She very unapologetically said it had happened to her before and that I would have to wait for the transactions to post to my bank account before she could refund my money. I am disabled and suffer from PTSD. Stress takes a toll on me and this mistake on the restaurants part has put me in a bind. As I live check to check and was counting on that balance to cover other expenses. Now I have to wait hoping she does refund my money as it is the weekend and the transactions won't post til Monday. I've been a patron at Long John Silvers for many years and eat at the other location every two weeks on Fridays. Unfortunately I will not visit any Long John Silvers in the future. Read moreI guess it's been a while since I've gone out to eat at any fastfood joints, because what I experienced today was eye-opening. First of all the food is fine, but the prices are high, much to high. We, (my husband and I) spent close to $26 bucks at Long John Silver's on 2 simple combo meals (one of these meals, was the "special" of the day) with no add on's, nor super-sized and no desserts. I was shocked when the cashier rang up the total, and asked if we wanted anytime else. The place was completely empty and we were the only two in the restaurant, could it have something to do with these outrageous prices? As they called my name, (as if that was necessary) to pick-up my order at the counter, I thought to myself, for a few bucks more, (maybe the same) I could have enjoyed table services with a freshly home cooked meal, from the locally owned restaurant, down the road. Read moreWow! I ordered ahead of time, and when I got there at the time the app said my order would be ready for pickup. The young lady at up front taking orders had no glue about my order. It took about 5 minutes before someone else came over and realized that they did not put in my order! No, sorry, or any other acknowledgments. She just told me to stand aside and that my order would be out shortly. I sat down at a dirty table and waited for about 20 minutes before I got back up and asked about my order. I think my prompting started the order to be filled. I got it soon after my ok prompting. By the way, no one bothered to clean any of the tables while I was there. Customers were wiping their own tables.
