I had the WORST EXPERIENCE THERE IT IS A SHAME THAT IT IS NEAR TORO BRONCO (I love toro bronco but it was closed at 10:am on a Saturday) my dad decided to eat at @lucy's cafe omg I love green enchiladas I eat them everywhere, however the enchiladas there were disgusting! The Soda I had from there tasted like metal, wth.... So I didn't eat... Not only was the food terrible, but I noticed the server made a homophobic comment, she was old, Hispanic, and over weight.... The homophobic comment was so out of the blue and unecessary... I will never ever go back to that place. Please save your money go somewhere else. Service= horrible food=horribly brother had the barbacoa taco's the meat was pink... My dad, mother, brother, and friend all had a stomach infection after...

Exactly the kind of spot I wish was still more rampant where I live, but sadly, now just a distant memory of a bygone (better) past. The service here was second to none- such incredibly warm, genuine, caring people running Lucy's. The food (we did breakfast) was stellar! My breakfast was filling enough (ask for their homemade hot green salsa!), but the fellow running it (whose smile could brighten the cloudiest day) prompted me to get a pancake, as the lady working the griddle was apparently a master at them, and while this put me over the edge in terms of fullness, I did not for a second going for it- perfectly cooked, moist, and fluffy! I cannot wait to visit on...

This was really a great breakfast. You have to look closely as we drove by it not realizing it was tucked into the Budget Lodge. The Machaca plate was really good. Full of flavor and they make their Machaca in house. It was covered in Queso and there were refried beans, hash browns and we took them up on the offer for tortillas and salsa. You know the salsa was homemade....we watched them prep veggies to make a new batch! My husband had the Mexican omelet which was flavorful.

Prices are reasonable and the service was fast. The coffee shop is tiny - counter seating only. If you want a little hometown diner, then this is...

Chillaquiles were absolutely incredible. If you want a breakfast that reminds you of your abuelas cooking, this is the place to go. It's a nice vibe overall, giving off this 1950s diner vibes except with Mexican food. It is a bit crammed and looks a bit small from outside but it's worth it. Not just that but the French toast was amazing. Definitely reccomend if you're looking for a hearty breakfast 😁

The food and service are amazing! I’d never had chilaquiles and they were so good! I had to give atmosphere less than stars…not bad but it’s a long counter and you watch them prepare so an old timey feel. They only accept cash but they tell you as you are greeted. Glad we got to try them on a Friday bc they are not open on weekends. Prices great too! And coffee was insanely good too!
