I recently stopped by Panda Express in El Paso to pick up some food for a party I was attending. Unfortunately, my experience was less than stellar. The ambiance of the restaurant was pretty typical for a fast food joint, with nothing particularly special or unique about it.
The service, on the other hand, was a bit of a disappointment. I ordered a party tray of Beijing Beef, which is apparently a menu item that the Las Cruces branch offers. However, the staff at this location was not familiar with the dish, and it took quite a while to get my order. In fact, it took a whopping 30 minutes to get my food, which was definitely not ideal when I was in a rush to get to the party.
On the bright side, the quality of the food was decent. The Beijing Beef was flavorful and had a nice balance of spices, although it was a bit greasy. The party tray was also large enough to feed a crowd, which was great.
Overall, I'd give Panda Express in El Paso a 3/5 stars rating. While the food was decent, the lack of familiarity with the party tray order and the long wait time were definite downsides. If you're planning on ordering a large amount of food, I'd recommend calling ahead to make sure they're familiar with the order and can accommodate you in a timely manner.
If you're looking for must-try menu items, I'd recommend the Honey Walnut Shrimp and the Orange Chicken. They're both popular dishes that are usually quite tasty. As for the best time to visit, I'd suggest avoiding peak hours to avoid long wait times.
In summary, Panda Express in El Paso location is a decent option for American-Chinese fast food when you're in a rush or need to grab some food for a party. Just be sure to double-check your order and give yourself plenty of time if you're ordering a large...

Read moreUnprofessional, dirty, untidy, rude, lazy staff of the night shift of January 14 2025 (Tuesday). Came here to pick up my online order at around 11.10pm on Jan 14 2025 (Tuesday). They already locked all doors and put up all stools 20 minutes earlier before closing time. When I knocked, they just ignored. Minutes later, a short girl in black t-shirt who was returning from trash disposal walked outside and told me to go through drive through to pick up my order. So I went to the drive through eventhough there's no option for that pickup (pickup in-store only). When I drove to the drive through window, the tall guy immediately showed me upset/angry faces and didn't say anything or even ask me what I was here for - he simply gestured with a head tilt of "What?". Had to wait additional 10 minutes for food to be handed off, and when the food was handed off they were all squeezed into a tight 1 piece plastic bag with some of the food already crumbled up. When he handed me off the food, he again immediately changed his face to show me his anger and upset and didn't even...
