Taco Cabana — Restaurant in El Paso

Very disappointed. So I live in Arizona and we took a family vacation and drove out to San Antonio. The trip was great, spent the week eating awesome food so restaurants suggested both Mexican and BBQ. As we were driving home I wanted to stop at one more restaurant that we do not have in Arizona to give us one last memory of the trip. As we were coming up to one of the last chances to stop in Texas we stopped at this Taco Cabana. To say this was a disappointment is really an understatement. I got the Cabana Sampler and the Mango tahin pie. As I took my first bite of the taco I have to say it almost ruined my entire trip. Growing up white, I have had white person taco night many times and i have to say this was the first time having a ground beef taco with 100% no seasoning. I thought maybe this was a mistake, so I went into the cheese enchilada, as I started to eat the enchilada the cheese was barely melted and the enchilada sauce was cold. Thinking the third item has to be the charm I went to the chicken flauta, this was at least hot but I feel maybe a little bit over cooked and again unseasoned meat. To my dismay the only thing left to bring back the great taste of Texas food was the mango taheen pie, I took my one and only bite and not surprised was greater with warm tasteless jam of what looked someone's attempt to make a pie filling.

After my family finished their food we all piled back into the car and made the last of our trip home without much conversation. If I never had the opportunity to step foot in a taco Cabana again I will not miss anything. Anything they have on their menu can be made at home and will just adding salt and pepper can taste a thousand...

Walked in for breakfast... floors were sticky, liquid on the floor. All dining area tables were not clean. As we started to see the menu to order the person taking the order was very rude. I didn't know that there's only one size for coffee. She was not friendly or welcoming. So we place the order clean our own table. Go to the softdrink machine press the ice.... again press the ice... no ice... machine is not working for the ice. Go to counter the workers notice I'm standing there and they are pretending I'm not right infront of them. Finally I'm " excuse me, there's no ice in the machine. Can I get some ice." She gets my cup and fills it to the top. I get my drink and head back to the table. 15 minutes pass no order, all I ordered was a burrito egg chorizo, 2 egg bacon tacos. 20 minutes I finally hear order #15 that's me I go to the counter. To my surprise two other customers come up to counter and the worker says it's order #15, all 3 of us respond I'm number 15. I don't think I'll be back to eat at this place. Manager didn't try to apologize for the inconvenience or apologize for the dirty dining area. To top it off there was a customer eating out in the Patio and they finish. They try to come back in to leave the Patio... door is locked my brother had to go open the door to let them in. This was a Friday morning like...

We went this past Friday 7/22/2022, for dinner on our way to El Paso. It was the one on 7870 N Mesa. It was horrible, the floor was filthy nasty and all the tables, nor one single one was clean. I didn't notice until we had already ordered our food. The area where you get your drinks and the utensils and straws was all dirty. I approached one of the employees in the front and had to say it a couple of times because she seemed to ignore me . An older lady came out and I asked her why every single table was dirty, she mentioned that they would be cleaned until the next crew employees would come in. We ate our meal and no one ever showed up to clean. It was so bad I felt like asking for the broom as mop myself. However, I am handicap and couldn't so it. I did have the heart to do it I had to. I would be ashamed to call myself a manager at that place if I couldn't keep it clean for the customers. There is no pride on that staff. I am going to call corporates. I don't ever do this but , I think the upper management needs to be aware. This has been one of my favorite places to eat. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed and won't...
