I’m visiting from out of town and heard about this place from a friend who lives in El Paso, and I’m really glad I came here!
The owner, Ken, is so friendly and welcoming to all of his customers. I was treated like one of his regulars and I’ve never received the level of service that I did with Ken at any other Vietnamese restaurant! It was unexpected but very welcomed.
As for the pho, you can immediately taste the difference in the quality and depth of the broth. He even adds rib eye bits which was a pleasant surprise. After chatting with Ken it turns out he cooks his broth for 28 HOURS! No wonder this was the best pho broth I’ve ever had.
The closest I’ve ever come to having amazing pho was in the garden grove/Westminster area in California, and it turns out this is also where Ken is also from, so it makes total sense.
I also got the tofu fried rice and it was the best I’ve ever had. Why? The fried tofu strips were crispy yet soft and moist. Most restaurants either overcook the tofu so it’s dry and hard, but not here. There was also minced garlic which added a subtle flavor profile without being overwhelming.
By the end of our meal I could see the bottom of my husband’s pho bowl. This was the first time I’ve ever seen him finish the entire bowl, which goes to show how much he enjoyed it!
Overall a great experience and I’ll be coming back for my future El...
Read moreLook no further! This is by far the BEST Pho in El Paso. I've had Pho in many different states and this place in #1. 1st, John- the cook & owner, was very welcoming. He is passionate about what he does and you can taste it in his food. I got the Flank* which John made us aware that the cut has to be good otherwise it could be a little fatty and chewy (it was perfect). The broth was made from absolute love and authentic- NO CUTTING CORNERS. A type of broth that takes more than 12 hours, a broth that touches your soul when it warms your body, a broth that stays on your lips like chap-stick just so you can remember the taste when you're done. I'm not the only one who loves it here but while eating a man walked in who John recognized as one of his regulars and that speaks volumes. I told John that we are one of his new regulars now.

1 out of 5 would not recommend and will not be returning. I ordered the vermicelli special with 2 shrimp spring rolls for take out. No name was taken when placing the order so when picking up the order, they were unsure of who the order was for. That's not too big of a deal, what I'm upset about is the quality and quantity I'd meat on my vermicelli. You could count the pieces of meat and it was overcooked. I also asked for additional sauces which were. 99 a piece and did nothing for all the noodles that were in my meal. These two dishes cost $28; it's...
