KSplitz Creamery — Restaurant in Elfers

KSplitz has RUINED my life. I used to be happy grabbing a waffle bowl with birthday cake or biscoff ice cream anywhere. But then I made the mistake of trying this place simply because it was still open one Saturday night when googling “ice cream near me”. Now I live in constant disappointment. Every other scoop tastes like sadness mixed with freezer burn compared to their ridiculously creamy, handcrafted deliciousness. I try and I hope. But nothing comes close. Revolutions in Tampa? Nope. That handmade place on Dale Mabry? Absolutely not. The place on Main Street in New Port Richey? It used to be fine, but now I might as well eat crushed ice out of my freezer. I spend my weeks either eating KSplitz or grieving that I can’t and have yet again been hornswaggled this evening into trying a different place because we were 17m away and it was 9:45pm. It was trash. So KSplitz, you have destroyed me. I am in despair. Also, you’re all so nice. That doesn’t help my experiences elsewhere either. I’ll see you tomorrow, best people in the world at the best ice cream shop in the world. Save me my waffle cone with two scoops of birthday cake ice cream and marshmallow sauce please.

I just ordered, received, and ate some of their banana pudding ice cream, and I couldn’t be more pleased with this business. Firstly, their ice cream tastes like it has the minimum number of ingredients necessary to make it perfect. And I don’t mean that it lacking in any way whatsoever. It just tastes pure, like homemade ice cream, but the recipe, process, texture, everything has been perfected. Furthermore, I asked for fudge to be mixed into my pint, and they didn’t disappoint. They mixed in the absolute perfect amount of fudge so there was a lot, but it didn’t overwhelm the underlying ice cream flavor. There’s definitely technique involved, and these folks are artists of their craft. Today was my first time ordering from here, but it definitely won’t be my last. I’m always skeptical about ordering from a new place, but now I’m sold. If my next purchase from them is the same quality as today’s, this will become the only place I get my ice cream from. I’m truly impressed with this place and I hope they never change a thing. All quality, no chemical taste, just good old fashioned ice cream that’s better than I’ve ever had...

We just discovered this hidden gem by searching for Google reviews. Once we tried this homemade ice cream and waffles, we can affirm all the 5 star 🌟 reviews are spot on! This place delivers in all areas, friendly service, great ice cream... So flavorful made with high quality ingredients and a cute asthetic inside. We typically don't eat the ice cream inside the business...However, as a result to the warm welcome, we decided to stay in and enjoy the atmosphere. This place is a slam dunk. Please note: they are 24 flavors and they rotate 8 out each month. One of the owners, forgive me, I failed to ask his name, was so pleasant to chat with...
